SKY New customers deal...

Just had a quick scan of the forum but it all seems to be cancelling nd starting again for the best sky discounts. Can anyone point me in the right direction of a decent start up offer?

You just missed a corking MSE offer - a few weeks ago there were codes for 50% off all the TV bundles.

I just had mine installed yesterday.

I now have Sky Sports, Sky Movies, HD pack, Entertainment Extra+ and Sky 3D for £36 a month for 12 months.

I'm not sure when the last 50% deal came up elsewhere but here it was a year ago I think?

Oh no! Seems like i'm a few weeks late... I'll mention it to the lady on the phone anyway. See what could be done.

Check out the cashback sites - they nearly always have great deals for new Sky subscribers.

For example, Quidco currently has a £115 cashback deal on Sky TV and broadband.
Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.

Go onto the sky website and open an online chat. Say you are interested and ask about the TV packages. At the end say its too much and you will look elsewhere. The online sales have the ability to offer 50% for the fist year if you sign up then.

I was looking at a different sky offer but the sums didnt add up so i went on chat to ask about it. They said they can do better (50% for the full 12 months) but i would have to sign up with them then.

I was thinking of rejoining too, but we seem to have just missed out on a very good deal (50%-75% discount).
Anyway I was wondering if it might be worth waiting a couple of months until the football season ends as a lot of folk seem to cancel then. Maybe they'll put a good deal on again?
I looked into TopCashBack who seem to have an attractive £126 cashback deal on Sky (as well as a £100 'reward' paid by Sky at the mo-Tesco vouchers and suchlike), but a lot of people on their forum are moaning that TCB never pay the Sky money out-has anyone experienced this?
Also posted a question on Sky forum about 'coming back' in the hope that Sky will pick up on it and offer me some sort of incentive.....

You know there were some groupon codes for 50% off too? Same as MSE but the MSe ones you didn't have to pay for.

The groupon ones you need to pay like £8 and then they refund on first bill do Sky direct so no messing about with groupon or anything I think it was groupon or summar this was a month or so back though so not sure if still ongoing.

I'd forgotten about Groupon. Just had a look and can't see the deal but worth checking-thanks Wapow.

You cannot cancel and rejoin as a new customer using the same name and address, unless you leave for a year.

Thanks -I didn't know that-it's ok though as it's been about 3 years.

Only 25% at the moment - I tried a few chat operators - not interested in anything lower
