Quidco I think is only for first timers.
    http://www.quidco.com/pru-health/

As for Vitality points, have you done all that needed to be done, like:
2 fitness assesments per year 600 points
    Personal health Review 100 points
    2 Stress centre 100 points
Reading self help articles (3per month) 200 points
    Non smoker 150 points
    Guide to routinetics 10 points

There's more but the above alone will get you 1160 points.
Add sainsburys and gym and it should be pretty easy to get to 2000 points?
Perhaps get a Fitbug, and cancel gym?

You can also get vitality points for improving your fitness as measured by a fitness assessment in the gym. I unexpectedly received an extra 500 for improved blood pressure, bmi etc. Makes platinum very easy to achieve this year.

Where do you find these articles? I read some when I first signed up but have not been able to find them since. I'm 340 points off Platinum status with less than a month to renewal so I'm going to book a fitness assessment for an easy 300 points.

Click Vitality, then Nutrition Centre, and below Facts of Food, click Read More.

Remember you can add the individual articles to your library to keep track of what you've read.

Given that the whole point is to do this FOR the free gym that would be the last thing you'd want. If you just wanted cheap medical insurance then it'd be a smart thing.

Don't forget your boots health check for vitality points, they sent me a voucher the other day but you can order one in the member zone (very limited number of branches do it though) as well as the optician check

Got a surprise this morning, a £25 check for a refund from LA fitness from my cancelled membership. I wasn't sure they were going to refund me so I was happy to see they had.
  • I signed up for bootshelathinsurance towards the end of last month via quidco. I managed to do this by going to quico logging in then visiting pruhealth and then "retrieve a quote". i then entered the quote number I had origanally got at Bootshealthinsurance.com. Was impressed when this strategy seemed to work

Howver I'm fairly new to quidco and looking at my account under earnings I see the transaction has been tracked but unfortunately the amount of earnings against it is zero. is this normal when signing up for pruhealth via quidco?

I got my membership pack in the post today & then tried to register online with the pin sent to me but unfortunately this didnt work..very frustrating!

Mine did not track, there were few tracked for zero, but that was for a quote I got on PruHealth. The Boots one didn't track. There was an entry for it so I've sent in an enquiry. Don't know if it'll work though...
  • Hi Folks

Has anyone joined Virgin Active via the PruHealth deal recently? My partner and I had a tour round their Derby gym yesterday and the sales person said its been taking around 10 weeks to activate Pru memberships! Has anyone found this to be the case?? Part of me was wondering if that was just a salespersons way of getting us to join there and then.
    Cheers

Sounds unlikely but I can't see many people choosing to pay £30/pcm extra just because of an alleged 10 week delay. The massive savings outweigh any delay. Also joining independently shouldn't be much quicker otherwise you could do that and then get it transferred to pru after joining (at least you can with LA/cannons)
