  • A christmas bonus would be lovely wouldn't it :)

How is everyone getting on? I am full steam ahead with Christmas, I have all the kids stuff wrapped and put away, just the family presents to wrap and put away. I have four more hats to make and a couple of scarves, a couple more things to buy once payday has been then I am done.

I was in work yesterday for overtime so that's one day already banked for end of December pay (I have 3 days coming on the end of November pay yay)
I am hoping I can get a couple more days on before the cut off (10th December)
End of Jan pay is going to suck lol, they don't normally (in past times) put it on over the christmas period (and I wouldn't want to work it anyway tbh) I just hope it continues after the new year :)

Just done kids homework with them, tidied up and done two loads of washing, going to bath kids, then do lunch then have a afternoon infront of tv and do some crochet, I got two balls of Scheepjes Whirls for christmas last year (they are £22 a ball) and I've been waiting for something nice to make with them, well I took the plunge and got a pattern for a shawl, the yarn is the thinnest I've ever used and I've never followed a pattern before (I usually follow video tutorials) so it's so new to me lol, it's going ok so far

Have a nice day all xx

You're super organised kindofagilr! I'm still trying to gey my eldest (6) to finalise his letter to Santa so I can safely buy the last of his gifts. Once the letter is gone, there's no mind-changing!

Glad you're still getting bits of overtime. Every little helps.

    Hey everyone

How are you all doing, we are sooo skint it's unreal lol 4 sleeps till payday!!!

Will get the last of our presents and then I will finish the wrapping, I need more sellotape, I don't even have money for that this week lol

I need to buy a couple of dyes, I want a black one I wear black jeggings for work and have about 8 pairs and the only thing wrong with the old ones is they have faded a bit so going to try dying them, and we want a navy one to dye our dining table chair covers, but they will have to wait till payday

I need some new ankle boots, I am going to get some that I can wear for work but also wear for my christmas party (I don't do heels) and I am just going to wear my black jeggings and the same sparkly jumper I wore last year, let's face is no one will notice lol I hardly ever go out so I am not wasting money on a outfit

I have a 7 things scheduled to start on ebay tonight for a week, one is on now as I accidently forgot to schedule it, and it has bids on of £21 so that's good

Homework all done, washing done and away, house is tidy, going to do a towel wash and then sit and crochet till I have to get the dinner ready, beef hot pot today :)

Have a good day all xx

Eek that is a long time, do you get paid in the middle of every month?

I am at work now, the system have crashed so that makes for a very boring day!

They have asked for expressions of interest for overtime this weekend (both days) so I have put my name down, we usually know by Wednesday afternoon if it is going to be on or not xx

Afternoon everyone, I am at work doing overtime (yay) so that's now three days banked for end of December pay, I am hoping it is on next weekend but some are saying it might not be as they are due to paint the rooms so they might be doing that next weekend, if they aren't though and it is on I will manage to have 5 days on December's pay :)

I have wrapped all the presents that we have in :)

I ordered the nearly last presents when we got paid on Friday, we need a nice bottle of whiskey for fil and some vouchers for Fenwicks for mil as she uses chanel make up and perfume so she can use them there for that, then I am done buying

I am halfway through making a hat, after that I have 2 more hats to do and 1 scarf, then I need to make a batch of fudge this week as my dad lives in spain so I need to get his sent to him.

Then I break up on the 19th December for Christmas, I am hopefully off till the 8th Jan, I say hopefully cos they haven't sorted it all yet, so I am unsure if I am going to get the 2nd of Jan off, if I don't then that is the only day I have to come in till the 8th.

So then once I am off, me and the kids are going to make fudge for everyone.

Our decorations are up :) and the house is looking nice and christmas-y

I hope everyone is doing ok
