Wowza - £810!? That's amazing! What were you selling, if you don't mind me asking? I feel like I'd have more motivation to sell things if we had things of value to sell haha

Sounds like you're cracking on well with the presents that you're making and buying.

Fingers crossed for next week's overtime going ahead - that'll be a nice wage in December :)

    Thanks Homegrown :)

We sold an old tablet, and the Wii-U (with 18 games) some perfume, and a leapfrog leapstart system with books

I am currently stressing about the Wii-U, that counts for £196 of the money, I reset it on monday and now we can't get the tv to recognise the wii-u!! We have ordered a scart adaptor and are going to see if that works as some people on the internet had that issue, and then once they got it sync'd then the HDMI lead worked, I will be less than impressed if its broken though :(

Sadly no overtime for this weekend, so December pay has 3 days overtime on which is still fab.

I won't be doing anymore if they put it on till after new year, I want to be off over chrismtas and make memories with the kids :)

I am having a mild panic about christmas makes cos I feel like I am behind now lol

I am never sending OH to the shop for a christmas present again lol I asked him to get his dad some Whiskey, £50 budget, and he text saying he had overspent a little bit, he spent £80!! thats not a little bit lol

Have a nice day all xx

Tell me about it!! Seems like such a waste of money to me but I'm not a drinker

Never letting him go shopping again lol

I've posted all the ebay stuff except the Wii-U, the scart is supposed to be coming today, so fingers crossed it comes, it works and then I can get it posted tomorrow

I need to get my dad's stuff sorted and packed and posted as well as he lives in Spain

I've bought all the family christmas cards and cards for work colleagues, I love a christmas card, I bought charity ones, and there is a homeless shelter in Newcastle that you can buy a homeless person a three course christmas dinner for £5, I do that as well each year I usually buy two, so once I have finished all the housework I will get cracking writing out cards

I have done the kids letters from santa via the NSPCC website, I know Royal Mail do it for free, but the NSPCC one is only £5 each and it's for a good cause

Just sorted out a fresh spreadsheet for 2019 :)

Have a good day all xx

  • Hopefully the scart will make it work and you can get it posted and sorted.

I'm not a fan of Christmas cards. I do get people them and write them out, but I would happily not do if I could get away with it. I feel pressure on getting Christmas cards done. I have normally wrapped, packed, sorted and done everything by now, but I haven't done because I really can't be bothered this year.

    I love a good spreadsheet...

Did the scart turn up? I'm hoping it did and it all works, that'd be so disheartening for it to be knackered. Although maybe Google might offer some troubleshooting tips beyond the scart to get it working again? Annoying for you though.

Thank you both, the scart worked :) yay!!! I've just posted it, I Have had to send a £10 refund though, as when I reset the console it has wiped the Splatoon one game, they are £10 on cex, so I refunded that amount, hopefully they will be ok with it.

I just love having cards up :) I don't think people should feel they have to send them though, hugs NikNak, it's been a hard year for you xx

I am going to do the dishes, then wrap the last of my presents up (I am waiting for perfume to come for mother in law, got 20% yesterday, £2.50 cashback from quidco and 7.5% cashback woo hoo) I have everything in except the perfume.

I need to change all the beds and put the christmas bedding on :)

Then I am going to invite mam over for a coffee

Have a nice day all xx
