    Afternoon all

Laptop sold for £435 last night, and he paid straight away yay :) I am off work from wednesday so will take it to post office to post (I checked couriers and royal mail actually seems best price with best cover for the value of the parcel)

Then I am going to list the rest of the things we have to sell to start on sunday coming (I like them to finish sunday evening as they always seem to make the most morning)

I need to go clothes shopping, my jeans have holes where they shouldn't lol, I have had them 4 years though and DD has a blister on her toe from PE, brand new trainers as well! but they make them wear football socks, so she needs new trainers, and we have meerkat meals (£1 travel insurance got us it for a year) so I fancy a treat to zizzi, so need to see if we can get to the shopping centre on sunday

Not much else happening today, just at work atm

Have a nice day all xx

I am very pleased he paid early, we now need tyres, all four, we have a 4x4, so we are looking at about £450 for new tyres  ah well at least we have the money from ebay!

I have another laptop to list, different kind, happyland, some perfume, and a couple of scentsy sidekicks to sell.

Might go through the kids books, but will probably end up charity shop for them, and last years winter coats, there is a clothing scheme opened around my way which I am in love with, the stock school uniforms, and have so much stock its greats to see everyone banding together, so I will donate the winter coats and school shoes to them, and the old uniform that is still in kids wardrobe

Last day of work for me for this week :T

Have a good day all xx

    Thanks Abba :)

Just back from the post office posting the laptop. That should be with him by 1pm tomorrow, I always get nervous selling things, even though the item was perfect, it still always worries me

Just put £50 in our emergency account, it's not much but it's more than we used to put in lol, so hopefully we won't have any emergencies and that will build up nicely

Need to order the tyres for the car and have them fitted next week sometime, OH is checking his calendar to see when he isn't out and about with work

Shop and Scan have the amazon vouchers back in stock so I traded in our points and got our £60 amazon vouchers, I will have enough points for another £10 before christmas so that will bring my vouchers nicely up to £100

My wool has come that I ordered to make my mam's shawl, but I haven't quite finished grandma's lap blanket yet, so need to do that, and wanted to get the hats done. Then will do shawl :)

Glorious weather here for a change, its really warm and sunny :)

Housework to do now, and then chill :)

Have a nice day all x

  • Building up emergency cash makes me feel all warm an fuzzy!

I have a decent amount at the minute because I sold some books, but the temptation is to pay off the loan with them, or fritter it away like I would normally do.

Great news about the vouchers. At least that's one less thing to worry about. £100 is a fab amount too.

I've managed to get the washing on the line. I am still trying to get motivated to start making my nephew a blanket for his birthday in a few weeks. I promised him I would so really should get started!

I really struggle making things when I have a deadline lol. I have done most the housework today so tommorrow I need to stick a wash in, clean the bathroom and then the day is mine :) so I am hoping to finish off my grandma’s blanket tommorrow :)

I ended up doing our bedding and got that out on the line, it didn’t quite dry so an hour on the radiators in the morning and it will

Well done on having emergency fund up and running, I am hoping ours will build up nicely, I mean I have £570 in the Christmas one which I haven’t missed, so hopefully emergency will build up well as well :)

Got a dreaded text from the school saying nits in DD class, turned out to be one of her friends so I got the nitty gritty comb and some vosene repellent shampoo and bathed the kids, washed their hair, put conditioner on and used the comb and thankfully no nits, lets hope they stay away xx
