Hi Deco  I was wondering where you'd got to. Good to see you back, and (((hugs))) for the anniversary.

I'm peeling 4kg of spuds to boil and mash for Mrs Dog. We got a 25kg sack from a farm last year on the way back from Totnes and they were absolutely lovely, still covered in mud, second earlies and absolutely worth every penny of £7. However, they are all now sprouting and going very wrinkley, so we're going to plant a few of the strongest in a deep pot or three left by neighbours when they moved out, in the back alley, and see what happens. In the meantime, they're not tasting as good as they did and Mrs Dog seems pretty okay on spud once its flavoured with something a bit meaty, so waste not want not and all that. I think I've found a dog food that she'll eat that's low enough in fat and protein not to set off her pancreatitis as well, so it's all good today.

House totally sparkley, self totally sparkley, hooves trimmed etc etc. I'm going to have to do some work tomorrow, so Flying's being relegated to not much action, just tidying.
    Better is good enough.

Boys collected from school, DS1 is tired and moody, DS2 fell and hit his head and DS3 has been emotional all day crying looking me. All homeworks done and boys all watching tv.

Floors all brushed, dw x 2, wm x 2, fire cleaned out and lit, dinner now on and I'm halfway through a form I need to get filled out. Also decluttered an hours sleep earlier.

Now to get dinner out, boys to club and DS3 to bed early.

bedroom is looking much tidier now

just played hunt the stop taps with DS2 - his scout homework was find and photograph the gas water and electric turn off taps in the house. water one is a pain in the proverbial you have to empty a kitchen cupboard and crawl in it to reach!

preped leek and potato soup for our tea later, will have that and watch a dvd once weve taken DS2 to scouts. DS1 has gone to watch a film at cinema so quiet night in for us.

    Hi folks

I'd love to join you and have a try at this. I'm 15 weeks pregnant so I've got a bit more energy now, but the house needs a good blitz after all the tiredness from early on!

Monday level one - done :j

  • Evening all.
I fetched kiddies from school and had a cup of tea.
Airer emptied (going to reload in a second)
Bedding went in dryer as we only have 1 set (need to remake still)
DW emptied and dinner pots in
Sorted through another pile of paperwork and have a big bag of shredded paper to get rid of but 1 less box in the conservatory (I think we have every single bit of paperwork since we moved in 13 years ago so still a lot of shredding to do)
Sorted dh online banking as need to do some cc shuffling
Shouted at the kids a lot, they have done nothing but fight and argue and now wont go to bed, I've taken them back about 20 times in the last 20 mins.

Going to load airers, make bed, shout a bit more and catch up on some tv. Might grab another box of paper to sort too.
