    How do you manage?????

I have often wondered the same myself! I also have no TD and no outdoor drying space. It's no wonder that laundry is the bane of my life. I can just about cope with two loads a day when it's just me, DH, DS1 and DS2, it's when the other three are here too that it really gets ridiculous. I had intended to use today to catch up but fate had other plans :(

Thankyou for the info JTTOU, I'm assuming that came from Which? Regardless, I am just about to nip down to JL now and get it ordered :money:

Bog still cleaning.. chunks of limescale chipped off, water scooped out so it is marinating in harpic.. I will have a shiny bowl... then I can start on the next one!!

More washing ready to hang out/up so I shall do that, make a cuppa, empty the DW and make the 1000 phone calls I need to make (ok so there are 4... but I hate doing them so it may as well be 1000)

if you do want them just pm where i need to post them to.
    .

Thank you, mrs-mp - they are perfect! I will PM you with my address. I hadn't realised that girls still wore that style :rotfl:

I have dug over a bit more than a square metre of garden this morning. Going back out again soon to try and pull up a thick ivy root (may need DH's help) and then off to the tip yet again.

3xWM is drying nicely on the new maiden :D
I have wasted time fighting the website application form for our local CRedit Union - I want to open an ISA with them, as per a suggestion from :money: - but it's all been sorted now by phone.
    Lunch has been eaten.
DH is finishing the utility ceiling.
  • im just nipping in with a quick update. i went to the library, washing is about to go out on the line, lunch is cooking, i know its 2pm its just one of those days. then.. i can do the bedroom before contemplating the park.

Brilliant, thankyou :D I had looked online to see if I could get it cheaper elsewhere but it seemed to be ~£40 cheaper at JL; I have been and ordered it :T The first available delivery slot was next Monday afternoon though. I will be buttering up my MIL for the use of hers until then.

'bout time I got on with some flapping I suppose!

Hi everyone; I'm in, but as usual, only in my customary pathetic flippy-flappy way, not soaring skywards like most of you.:rotfl:

Welcome, new and returning Flyers - deepindoodoo, I love your screen name!:D

Fizz I have a B0sch washer dryer, and have not had any problems with it.:o I don't often use the dryer facility, mainly just for bedlinen in the winter months, because we simply don't have the space for drying duvet covers indoors.:o

I woke up with stress induced conjunctivit1s and other stress related health issues today. I look a state - there will be no make up free selfies of me on FB looking like this! I even wore sunglasses when it was raining cats and dogs at DS3's football match today. DH is horrified by my ailments and is finally taking me seriously so our situation has improved slightly. DS1 (19 yo) has not changed his behaviour but he has been out refereeing which was a welcome relief.

DH is working from home tomorrow, and is away tue-thu. I've asked him to take DS1 with him. He's not keen but realises that this painful weekend may have been avoided if he took him away last week when I requested. The seed has been sown.....
(((HUGS))) I hope you have a calmer week, and feel better for not having DS1 winding you up.
Ooh and Aldi - go with an open mind. You will find very few brands but just give things a try. We eat all of their meat and a lot of their other unbranded stuff.
I get loads of cupboard staples from there - I'd never thought of going there, but when Mary (Jack Russell Cross) didn't bring enough food with her, and the franchisee got some emergency rations for her from there, I realised it was worth a look. I now go regularly. Btw, their pouches of dog food got the Mary seal of approval.:D
Been to local town to pay cheque in [account sighs with relief] Also went into bakery to get some rolls for lunch - woman serving us was so rude I got mad and told her not to bother and walked out!! Don't normally do that sort of thing but being tutted at because I asked the price and then sighed and with an evil glare cos I said I wanted something that she thought I shouldn't have [crusty and not soft rolls] was the final straw for me, so thats a bakery I won't be going back to :]

Home now, had food, DH is away to bed cos its worn him out and I'm away to do the bathroom before we get evicted for a health and safety issue lol
That sounds remarkably like the attitude I got from Customer "Services" in the Northampton branch of Sainsbugs for having the nerve to ask for a wheelchair trolley.:( Guess which SM I don't set foot in these days....
I hope Mr Jelly is recovered from the exertion - I'll see if I can muster up an extra Spoon or two to send him.:o

Spencer went home yesterday afternoon; I'm ex-haust-ed after this weekend, but really, he was a super little chap; with a bit more training (he's only 6 months old) he's going to be a fantastic little dog.:T

I've done a WM load (yet more jeans) and I must raise the energy for a Dys0n Tango at some stage today - other than that and a general S&S and tidy round, I think the rest will have to wait till tomorrow.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
