Thanks Ali. I will try a second account. I don't shop much at Sainsbugs but the adpoints are fairly easy and will try search and canvass - hopefully when I am watching some of the tennis soon.

I think I'll try to build up enough nectar points for a shop or something, then put the shopping money to PADing the CCs.

It really is amazing how it all adds up. I'd like to be rid of these cc debts in 2 years at the most. In a couple of months they should stand at £15k and with about £6.5k in the savings that's 8.5k net debt. The sooner they've gone the quicker we can start saving. I'm paying off £333.33 minimum each month which is £1k per quarter or £4k per year. Plus any PADs which I hope to increase soon.

I'm not including my £12k car finance as I've written off the depreciation (about £8k), I owe about as much as it's worth 2 years in and so I won't be selling it. I see it as part of the expense of getting to work now. Next summer I will redo the finance and reduce it to a much lower repayment figure as long as interest rates are still low.

Am really pleased with earning £15 on the Santander account, saving a fiver interest on my other current account but must get around to going fee-free as I'm paying £25 a month. I'm also paying off the smallest CC which will save a £25. Monthly payment including £9 interest. Then I must put the savings into a higher interest account - I think Lloyds is looking favourite too.

It will be about a £100 increase a month just for switching a few things - darn I wish I'd done it sooner, but at least it's done.

Right off to sleep, must stop rambling on. It's the time of the month where the new statements aren't out yet and I really want to update my signature etc. on tenterhooks waiting for Dalligas - oh yes that's another saving. Scottish power now = zero officially. So they've reduced my dd to £92 a month very kind of them. :rotfl: However I don't want them to take that payment so I hope Daligas get a move on. :rotfl: Then I can get my £17 Energylink payment too. :) which will be a PAD.

    Night all!

What an earth were you doing up at 3am!:eek:

I don't do my main shopping in Sbugs either - majority of points have come from the other ways to collect them! I use mine for half price (or less) clothes and the XXL Turkey for pre-Xmas lunch for 19 (family). I usually have about £70 by October - can't believe how much sooner I'm getting to that figure with doing all the extra things.

Look out on the Nectar site for sign up bonus points too - 200 here and there soon make a few more £s :D

    Lol. Feeling really happy. :rotfl:

Might be something to do with the can of cider and just feeling good..

Got a busy couple of weekends ahead and have to turn up DDs dress soon and buy her some party shoes. She has to wear sensible shoes on the advice of the consultant, but can wear girly ones for a short time. :)

How nice to have not brought any work home or be dreading Monday morning :):)

Popped into the co-op on the way hone for some sushi and the whole shelf was bare - what happened ? Has there been a sushi-fest? Managed to nab a cheese and bacon slice for 33p down from £1.30 - yum. :)

As long as I don't get confused with where the coffee goes and where the Netti pot goes I'll be fine :rotfl: :rotfl:
