I'm slightly more worried here, the fact that he is using the wrong postage method with no insurance makes me nervous.
However, recorded is not a guaranteed service so it might take a good few days to arrive, my 1st class here can easily take 3 days normally.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Better safe than sorry, a dispute is probably a good idea.
However, I note that the seller has only had a few days to get the vouchers to the people who have now left negs. What makes them so sure they won't get them? Has he told them?
How do you know he's Russian anyhow?
Why do I get the feeling people don't post the full story here anymore
My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
Because of his name and email adress ends in ru. i ordered some other vouchers off ebay seller posted 1st class yesterday,i received this morning,i asked seller of suspected fraudlent auction to supply me tracking number,he never sent me it,also seller promised to send on monday(as i said i was going on holiday,as i was starting to suspect something)i emailed him yesterday he then said he was sending tuesday,im now 100% this seller is a scammer and he would have made easily 2 or 3 thousand pounds.frivolous_fay wrote: »Better safe than sorry, a dispute is probably a good idea.

also looks like shill bidding with the bidder ending in 94, they're bidding on nearly all the live auctions. I would say it looks like hes having a final push and then possibly shutting shop after the last auction tomorrow before more negs come rolling in.0

Well all his latest items he's selling all have the same buyer, so looks well dodgy, or someone is bidding high to stop anybody else getting ripped off.0

Exactly look at his feedback now. Also as auctiond had £150 buyer protection will paypal be liable to pay out losses up to this amount??Well all his latest items he's selling all have the same buyer, so looks well dodgy, or someone is bidding high to stop anybody else getting ripped off.0 -

The standard £150 paypal protection is the replacement for the old ebay protection and does not guarantee a full refund in cases of non receipt. Where the basic protection is given it means that the seller doe snot qualify for the full protection, so paypal will only refund if they can get funds from the seller to do so.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. This guy is definitely a scammer. If you do an advanced search of items sold in the last 30 days they are all vouchers apart from 2 mobiles and 2 sat navs with identical photos. Total of over £5000, who has that many vouchers? Just because he has a photo with his user name on do not be fooled. They could be printed from google images and cut out to look authentic. I have been an ebayer for 6 years and this shows all the signs, ebay will close this account in the next few hours.
What gets me with ebay is that you have to be ripped off to report a scammer! They don't seem to do anything if you report a dodgy seller so I have given up.0
