    this is the same debt, i do not know if its showing on my credit file....
    i have it in writing that they will accept £200 as full and final settlement on this account

    dont know sent the letter on monday waiting for a reply, but apex say the £200 offer only valid till friday next week....

    well have not paid the £200 could not afford to pay it till october 31st as i was off sick from work, have written 5 times to apex to askk if i may still pay the £200 got no reply at all, yet i sent all the letters recorded delivery, what do you think they are doing ???
    i heard royal bank of scotland have written of a lot of peoples bad debt, could they have done that with this money ??

    More than likely that the original debt was, in fact, written off, then 'sold' to apex for a few pence in the pound.

  • Mine's gone all quiet for about 6 months now.

    I don't understand this company. They get the full CCA etc. so i write and tell them i'm willing to pay, and they go quiet on me. So confusing.

    Presumably it's another mind game in their arsenal to try and break me...

    hi fallenangel152, have you heard anything from apex ?? i have not heard from them and there website is under construction....

    anyone any ideas, should i write to them or just leave it alone !!

    Just leave it alone, kurjam. They will assume that any contact, from you, is an admission of liability.

    Wait until (if) they write to you again - then post here for further advice.
