Write to TS and the OFT and the IO about the "debt" being sold on.
And do not speak to APEX. See what you get back from the above.
And then send a copy of the letter to APEX.
have written to oft and the io about the debt being sold on.....so fingers crossed i hear from them soon !! :T0 -

Really glad you have done this. Well done.
it might be a good idea to send a letter to teh Trading standards as well.
Got to goIf you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
hi Ras, should i post the letter or wait for natwest to write back to me ??
shall i ring trading standards etc ??
i am worried about getting other people involved in this, incase they say i am wrong !!
Hi kurjam - to me, this seems like a classic case of the dca, and original creditor, trying to divert your attention away from the fact that the hae failed to respect their legal obligations.
Providing that you hae kept copies of all of the 'cca' correspondence, along with records of when letters were deliered/signed for, then neither the dca, nor the original creditor, will have a leg to stand on if they take this case to court.
If you have alread sent a copy of the letter that I posted (post 202) which is the same letter tha RAS has posted, then, personally, I would do nothing more at the moment, except, possibly, to send copies of this letter to NatWest.
If they continue to 'harass' you - which, effectively, is what they are now doing - then you may need to start threatening them with action, which you are now perfectly entitled to take, through the Magistrate'sCourts.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Forget it. They are not entitled to a penny, so do not respond to them.
It has got to the point were I think that this consitutes haressment, but I also thnk that if you respond to APEX they will just keep contacting you.
Will re-post later.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -

who can i contact to try and get apex to stophassling me ??0 -
got a reply from natwest today, not to good though !!
they contacted aic who the original cca request was made to, who have told natwest they have no corespondence from me regarding this. (they are lying i have a recorded signed for letter as proof and they did send me a cca but not the one relating to the debt, so think they trying to cover there tracks)
they then say as my letter does not specify what i actually want under the cca i must write and confirm what i want a, sar or copy of the credit agreement. in the meantime this account is not in dispute and is only infomation regarding the account, therefore please contact our chosen agent direct to arrange making payments..
so what now ?? allied are lying as i state above, natwest say i must pay and send another £1 to them for the credit agreement (already sent this to allied),
shall i ring natwest ?? i need to write to them and explain that aic have already have my £1 and that i have proof they received the letter, as they sent me a cca not relating to this account.should i tell them aic were not correct in selling the debt as they could not give me a cca ??.... can anyone post me a letter i can write to natwest, as they want me to pay, yet this as been going on for months so i thought i would not have to make any payments now !!!
so fed up !!just feel like paying the debt off !!!
shall i make an offer to clear the debt in 1 go direct to natwest and get it over with, obviously i will not offer the full amount.....
i just want proof i owe this debt to which ever debt recovery people they say i do, there is no mention of apex in the letter, who are still chasing me for this debt !!0 -

Kurjam - DO NOT RING EITHER NATWEST OR AIC.
Provided that you sent the template letter, then your request was quite specific. You have kept copies and records of when your letters were received.
What NatWest is now oing is nothing short of harassment which is illegal.
May I reccomend that you ring someone like National Debtline, on 0808 808 4000, or CCCS on 0800 138 1111, and explain exactly the situation, with dates etc. as to when you asked for the cca and wat they are now saying.
One of the said oganisations will be able to advise you of your current legal position regarding this 'debt' and will be able to tell you how best to tell both Natwest AND AIC to 'go forth and multiply'.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser.
