New Lloyds Club current account

Would I be able to pay in 500 each month by transfer from another bank to make up the 1500 as my wages only make 1000. Even if it goes back out again next day.
Yes definitely, few people have been doing that with Lloyds TSB
For this purpose you will need two A/Cs.
1. A/Cy to TSB A/C £1000
2. TSB A/C to A/Cy
3. A/Cy to TSB A/C £1000
Job done. By doing this you already put £2000 on the month and meeting the criteria (e.g minimum £ 1500). You do not need to wait until the following day. If you are doing it manually, the process of transferring in and out using faster payment could happen in a matter of minutes.0 -

Just a quick follow up on my own post - opened Club Account earlier in the week - confirmation page suggested that I'd receive a Internet Banking User ID within 7 days bla bla bla so was expecting the situation as mentioned by others.
It did however appear under my current Online account the following morning with my other accounts.

That's exactly what happened with my missus's account. It's supposed to self-merge... but clearly it doesn't always as I and others have experienced. But they can put it right, not in branch, but the IT back office have to do it (eventually!!!)If the ball had gone in the net it would have been a goal.If my Auntie had been a man she'd have been my Uncle.0 -

Yes mine hasn't merged, was hoping it would after activation, but no...
Was told they don't know when it will be done she said it could be months...!!0 -

Mine went from up to 5 days to up to 14 to fix... Ilodged a formal complaint and it was done within the hour + £60 compensation for being messed about on the phone for hours. If the ball had gone in the net it would have been a goal.If my Auntie had been a man she'd have been my Uncle.0 -
If I convert my existing Vantage account to Plus will my details remain the same (so salary and DD will continue as normal) and will I still be able to use the same card I have now, if not how long for?0
-
Back to the Club account - it was mentioned that the mtg reduction was &G mtgs - arranged via Lloyds - otherwise I'm better off with the vantage as more interest - 1.5% compared to Club 1%!0
-
Whoops - that went a little awry! reduction 0.2%, I have C&G mtgs through Lloyds.0
-
Liamcov - yes, I looked at details on my account via upgrade button and it assures you all details/cards/d.d. will remain the same.0

Just to confirm, do the 2xDDs need to be paid every month to get the interest for that month?
I've got 3 DDs to move, 1 is monthly, the 2nd every 6 months, and the 3rd annual.
I already have 6 DDs setup with Tesco, any more and they'll probably lock my account! (Not exactly typical to have 6 DDs for a savings account, all the range of £1 - £2)0
