Okay, so to get round the above I have applied for the sole Club account as a new customer, all accepted and can log on, now have to wait for activation code.

The only hassle now is that we have two different log on usernames to view all her accounts.

Did someone on here mention that you could get them all under one username to show our Joint Club account, 3 Vantage accounts and this new Club account?

For some reason I had to create a new Internet Banking user ID when I applied for a club account (rather than Upgrade). I complained and asked them to consolidate it under my original internet banking ID which they finally got around to yesterday.

Apologies but I'm a bit confused with this.

I have opened my Lloyds Club Account and Club Monthly Saver (both are showing on my online banking homepage). How do I set up the SO? I have tried clicking on the DD/SO tab on each account but there is no option to create one.

    :o

karlie I had the same problem, in that the Club Monthly Saver doesn't appear as an option in the SO drop down menu on the Lloyds current accounts :(

All you have to do is enter the SO details manually, ie your name then the sort code and account number of your Club Monthly Saver

Simples when you know how :D

There is a slight discrepancy in the pages regarding the Monthly Saver.

The conditions say that you have to pay in each calendar month, so as per the terms you could have paid in on 1 April.

The product page, however, says that any deposits after 25th of the month are counted as the following month's deposit, meaning that you can't pay in until 26 April.

I missed the bit on the product page and just went with the conditions (that you have to agree that you've read when you apply) and paid in on 31 March and 1 April and the second payment hasn't been returned yet

I just got £99 compensation (£34 phone calls + £65 inconvenience) from Lloyds over the phone because they were so bad setting up my Monthly Saver! Got it fixed now: First deposit was transfer on 31 March, second will be Standing Order payment on 7 April, followed by subsequent Standing Orders on 1st of the month from May+ ;)

Rang them up. Lodged a formal complaint in the end when they said it could take up to 14 days. Once I'd done that it was sorted same afternoon!!

    New debit card arrived today.

However its a standard non contactless card, so I called and asked for a contactless card. Only to be told no sorry we don't offer them in your area.

Never mind not the end of the world.

Load of tosh from their telephone adviser.

    It should have contactless.

It's even pictured on the debit card on their own website!

Got my card today and it isn't contactless either...which I thought was odd..
Not that I am bothered as my credit card is contactless and use far more than any debit card.
