Hi, I'm finally going for it and will be declaring BR Tuesday 15th April, so next week.

I have been reading this forum every day and want to thank everyone for the advice, I'd have been lost without it. I feel really nervous but also as if there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

My main reason for BR is because I have a mortgage shortfall that I just cannot pay.

The sad thing is that I have to close my business, which I saved for years to set up and have been running fairly okay for the past 5 years, but needs must, and I'm hoping perhaps one day I can set it up again, although I'm not too sure?

One question I have, I don't have any earned income, and my only income is what my husband pays towards the bills (not much as he's self employed) and my student finance, as I am a full time student. Will the OR be seeking an IPA from my student finance?

So please add me to the April BR club and I shall let everyone know how it goes.

Are you a sole trader or is it a limited company or something else?

  • Thank you
Yes we are so ready !
We have made so many mistakes up until now where we have robbed peter to pay paul and missed payments to important bills

Now we have been working hard and we get so much satisfaction from paying bills on time or even early !!
