When porting your number to 3, has anyone got a confirmation email or anything of the sort, during the weekend?
no but it does say it you port your number on Friday after 5pm it will go though the following working day, so I'm guessing it will be processed on Monday and the number changes on Tuesday.0 -
Sorry if this wasn't clear, but when I ported my number originally to ye olde Ovivo, I got a confirmation email, but with 3 I haven't got any so far, and on their port form, I think it mentions needing your email for confirmation purposes or something? Or was I just daydreaming?
Anyway, Peter (or anyone), did get an auto-confirmation email0 -

Three irritatingly sends out surveys as if the job is complete, before sending any clear Emails about the progress of your port.
Frankly, Ovivo's service in supplying the PAC was a model of customer service while 3's service porting me in is a shambles.0 -

I've requested a port to GG tonight (for Tuesday) for my old number that was on Ovivo (only joined Ovivo as a way of keeping this number alive free) have never ported to GG before let us hope it is not as much of a pain as Voda was! One of the good things I always found with Ovivo was their support was good, at least in my experience.
Can't say the same about GG which relies too much on forums where people post the blindingly obvious that does not solve a problem but then someone else clicks a button that says problem solved when it is anything but just to get the payback points for the person who posted the pointless answer.
Pure fraud in my view, not up to anyone bar the OP to say if problem is solved or not. When I challenged this once was told it is the way things work around here by the other "community" member who said it was solved. I have never bothered posting anything else on the forums there since.
Then I have a lot of credit to use up before I can port one of my numbers out of GG to 3.I started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.0 -

I've actually just arranged ports for 4 numbers to Three this week (my own contract number from Tesco Mobile and 3 other numbers from Ovivo).
The 3 numbers from Ovivo all ported without a problem, I started the port requests on Thursday afternoon, received confirmation emails for all 3, and they were all complete by midday Friday.
My own number which I ported on Wednesday had a slight problem where I could only receive calls from Three numbers (Tesco hadn't released the number properly), it only took a single call to Three and they had it resolved with an hour on Friday morning.
From my POV, Three have been pretty efficient with their porting procedures.====0 -

2 Ports to 3 completed this morning, text at around 8:30 to say it will happen today rebooted the phone around 10:00 it was done.0
