This reminds me I've got to get my passport re-newed next year. I don't look too bad in my old ones, but being a laydee I suppose at least you can put a bit of make-up on. I think I'm going to look (and feel) much older in this one, though. I was 33 when I got my last passport..

OP is male (I think), so not sure if any advice telling them to powder their nose or wear a nice foundation is going to be that helpful :D
And you can't exactly roll up to the doctors surgery saying you look bad in your passport photo :rotfl:

No, but you can (and should) 'roll up' and say that my skin looks yellow (as stated in the first post), male or female.

I'm obviously weird because I love my passport photo! I went to this shop in town that does them rather than going to a booth, and obviously I had make up on (which I normally don't bother with) and I remember that the woman who took the photo made me sweep my fringe to the side a bit so it wasn't in my eyes (not allowed) and it turned out fab!! I had to take my passport into work recently for my DBS check and I was showing everyone! Most people were in agreement that it was very flattering because normally I look like $hite!! :D

DS makes me laugh because he has a "passport photo face" that he can put on for such an occasion - you can ask him to show you his passport photo face and he does it. I think it's funny anyway!

And it looks like we made it once again
Yes it looks like we made it to the end

It might be the quality of the picture but my skin looks kind of yellow.

If you haven't already sent off the photo, try another photo booth . Last time I got mine done the first ones were terrible . The second ones were better . Use a moisturiser , might just soften the look of your skin . Try a few poses , sit back and hope for the best .

I have this theory that if someone ever does look like their passport photo, they are the people who'll get stopped by Immigration, 'cos it's obviously a fake :D

My dear old Dad used to say that he didn't ever much like his passport photo until he saw the new one which would be replacing it 10 years later, then the old photo didn't look so bad.

I am still pondering how to make my eyes smile when my mouth is set in the Prisoner cell Block H grimace needed for passport pics.

My latest passport pic was terrible.

I'd been using one that was taken about 7 years ago as I got a strip of 5 done then and only needed one at a time...but the difference in that 7 year old pic and the latest one was dramatic!

I looked about a million years older and was not best pleased...felt quite depressed for about a day before I snapped out of it, remembering what my old dad used to say..."Better to be over the hill than under it!"
