I look old and ill

Last year I came through Customs on the way back from France and the lady looked at my passport, actually laughed out loud at the photo - rude! - and said, "I bet you can't wait for that to expire,". And this is from someone who looks at passport photos all day!0

I showed my passport photo round work once, they didn't stop laughing for months!!0

My mum hates her bus pass photo, shes not photogenic (neither am I, my brother is, he got lucky) and the photo has also been stretched for some reason, she keeps hoping she'll lose the bus pass so she has to get another one.
Sorry to disappoint, but if she loses it, it will be replaced with the electronically stored photo of the original
. (My son has lost his several times .) . . .I did not speak out
Then they came for me
And there was no one left
To speak out for me..

I had my passport/driving license photos taken the other day. i didn't look at them on the shop but when Granddaughter and I got into the car i opened them. Oh dear, I said, they must have given me the wrong photos. They had given me the photos of this really old person who certainly wasn't me.
But they are you, granddaughter said. Really. And on further inspection i have to admit she is right. Alas!0 -
________________________________________________My latest passport pic was terrible.
remembering what my old dad used to say..."Better to be over the hill than under it!"
I really like that and must remember it to quote on relevant occasions.
Better to be over the hill than under it.
Better to be over the hill than under it.
Better to be over the hill than under it.
And so on and so on...

I'm obviously weird because I love my passport photo! I went to this shop in town that does them rather than going to a booth, and obviously I had make up on (which I normally don't bother with) and I remember that the woman who took the photo made me sweep my fringe to the side a bit so it wasn't in my eyes (not allowed) and it turned out fab!! I had to take my passport into work recently for my DBS check and I was showing everyone! Most people were in agreement that it was very flattering because normally I look like $hite!!

DS makes me laugh because he has a "passport photo face" that he can put on for such an occasion - you can ask him to show you his passport photo face and he does it. I think it's funny anyway!

I love mine too. It's a selfish I took in good, natural lighting against a neutral background when I was having a good hair and makeup day. It's on my passport (seen rarely) and driving licence (seen daily), and was on an NUS card for about 3 years I think too. It's now 8 years old but I still use it on stuff that asks for a photo.
I intend taking the sane care over the next one!0 -
It's hard not to look grumpy but I've found having photos done on the same day I've had my hair done helps.0
