Came home today to find some tesco club card coupons in the post.
Had a right result with them.
Coupon 1 : 50p off a 6 pack of wotsits ( already reduced to £1 in our store so 6 packs for 50p!)
Coupon 2 : 50p of 4 pack milkybars (already buy one get one free so 2 packs for £1)
Feels good getting a deal! :j

Wednesday done, roll on Thursday!
Many people consider Wednesday to not be an actual day of the week, but a well disguised attempt by the government to increase the working week. This theory, dubbed the "Tuesday conspiracy", is gaining momentum with every passing day. The Campaign for Obliteration of Wednesdays (C.O.W.) now has over 8 members, and has been holding protests every other Wednesday for 18 years.(Debt Jan 2014 LBM £34,000) Current 2016 "Problems" as follows:

What a day..........
When i started this Debt Free Journey I had no idea how hard and challenging it would be.
A good friend had some harsh words to say to me today as I declined the invite to go drinking all day in the Pubs. I explained i was trying to save money but that me no difference.
My Partner has now spit up with me as I guess the money has run out as it were. Not in the sense of paying the bills but being frivolous and blowing money all over the place. She could not/would not grasp the changes and when I turned the tap of money off, she went off!
So this has to be the hardest Bank Holiday I have ever had but I am keeping strong fellow friends. :easter_os(Debt Jan 2014 LBM £34,000) Current 2016 "Problems" as follows:

If friends go because they can't or won't accept your decisions, were they really friends. Someone I had gone through thick and thin with for approx 20 years totally rubbished me for being a party pooper and not being available to socialise on her terms. I got debt free and she had to ask relatives to buy half her house to allow her to keep a roof over her head. It's hard but sometimes it's for the best.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 11st 12lb determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. Sorry to read that GunWharf, but I agree with INOD.
Similarly, I've stopped giving money/buying birthday presents for friends children aged over 21 - 2 of my 3 closest friends are fine with that, but 1 isn't and has therefore stopped presents to my 13 year old DS and has basically decided I'm selfish.
Some people aren't worth it - they are hard lessons learnt for us now, but bet their time will come in the future.
Keep going, it's a bump in the road but you're doing so wellBack on the DFW Wagon:
CC - £3,300 on 0% til 04/2020
CC - £4,500 on 0% til 02/2019
Loan - £12,063.84 as at 4/1/180 -
Managed to do it for the first time in years, no spend on credit cards for the whole Bank Holiday. The first time in 8 years I have managed this.Resisted all the calls and texts to go out and held steady. Feel very proud of myself for it. :T
Hope everybody else is having a good bank holiday and enjoying the Sun today! Monday is traditionally a shocker day once a week, sometimes just before Tuesday (although it has occasionally been caught fraternizing with Sunday as well). At least no work for me today!
