You can do it and WILL. I had to take on a second job whilst OH was out of work and actually found that enjoyable because it was in retail and I could just walk in do the job and go home, whereas the day job has more responsibility and I take the worries home with me and log in from home. Managed to keep that up for about two and a half years when my luck changed and I was able to give up the part time one. That said I would love to be in a position where everything could be paid 12 months in advance and I would also like to retire in a couple of years - both probably unachievable at my time of life, but I am sure you will see the efforts of your hard work very soon. Good luck - Billie xx

So we head into Wednesday.... Had three seasons in one day today on the South Coast!

Been going through my excel spread sheet and all seems to be going well. Have changed my spending habits dramticaly over the past weeks. Bargain shops in Tesco now have reduced my daily spend of £10-£20 down to £2 or 3. All I save is going in over payments to the Credit Cards at the moment.

Watching a prog on C5 about " The nightmare Neighbour next door". Some mad people out there!

Hello and hope everybody had a good Thursday.

No over payments today but doing really well with cutting my spending.

It is feeling good knocking those Credit card balances down. I am lucky I managed to transfer all to 0% APR or i would have been in terrible trouble.

I switched after reading on this site so it saved my backside big time!

    Roll on Friday :T

    Hello all

Right today I have paid my car insurance. Went on a compare site and got it reduced by 25%!

No over payments today but a saving is just as good I think!

  • A saving is even better as it means your debt doesn't increase so no additional interest to pay

Watching Countryfile and taking it easy. Weather has been good on the South Coast. Just planning where to send over payments to when i get paid.

Been a slow week in regards to paying things off although that should be the bills sorted for 3 months :)

 Had a couple of ciders in the fridge, i may have one in a bit.

Good luck everybody next week with your debt busting.

  • Hi GunWharf
Have had a read through your diary and enjoyed reading about your overpayments you have been making. It must soon add up. This is what I intend to do. However small the payments are.
