Here we go, Weekend is here.

Weather not up to much but not raining here. Made a number of over payments this week. £20 here, £25 there-all adds up over the month.

Been reading lots of peoples Stories on here. Some good, some bad but in general everybody is making a good change in their lives.

Had a few Drinks last night, took that Crisp £20 note and enjoyed my drinks. My one last treat I have every week. Lovely.

    Good Sunday to you all.

Another trip to Tesco today to try and buy what I need for the week rather than carry cash. I am saving over £50 a week by doing this so far. Took lots of change with me and filled that self service machine up a treat!

Watching James Bond now, really enjoy that every Sunday at the moment.

Had a tweak at my spreadsheet that shows all my Debts. Gets me a bit down but then i go and look at people Diary's on here from a few years back and see their progress. That spurs me on so much.

    Cheers

Hi Gunwharf - you are going great guns so that is wonderful, but can you explain how you are able to find extra money to make weekly/daily over payments. Keep at it and share your secret!! Billie x

    Hello BILLIE

I have one main job, this sorts the Mortgage, Bills etc but over past 6+ weeks, I have taken 3 other jobs. One in the Evenings helping a friend which I can do at home and 2 at weekends. To be honest I am knackered. Truly shattered. It is making such a difference. I am to do this for as long as I can hold out as I am throwing it all at Over payments.

I have lived the easy life for so long that a year of pain is only what is deserved. The strange thing is the more I pay off, the more I worry. In fact I worry more than when I had not started re-paying. It keeps me awake at night and worried in the day.

I take great comfort in reading Diaries on here. I read them way back to 2008-09 and see how people have made the journey so I know my feelings are not unique to me!

The hardest thing is keeping this away from my family. When it is all payed off, I want to walk into a Pub and have one single beverage. That will be my reward and I hope will taste great. A pint I have paid for with my money and no debt. That is my goal.

    Good luck
