Post man has just made my day.....a Cheque for nearly £300 dropped through the letter box from Uniform tax on-line. Wow, that will go towards one of my credit cards. I filled in the forms including the clothes and tools I have bought over past 4 years. Took 4 weeks

    Hi Gunwharf

Fellow Pompey resident here (well, born in Portsmouth, but living 15 minutes down the M27 now).

Well done for your payments so far and great news with the £300 today.

Portsmouth FC are a joke aren't they? It's just plain embarrassing now (having said that, at the time of writing, they are 1-0 up against Newport :)).

Good luck - I'll be subscribing.

    Hello Emzilla :hello:

Another Sunny day here in Portsmouth although a cold wind!

Having a butchers through peoples Diaries today. No matter how bad things seem, watching peoples progress and success really motivates me :T

Hope to make a few overpayments this week :j Credit card 1 will be gone within 8 weeks and my spreadsheet shows Creit Card 2 will be gone on August 15th.

I made the spreadsheet myself in excel and has a column for every debt. I input the regular payments and any overpayments and it shows me the debt free date. Really keeps me going!

I know the M275 well, the delays around Eastleigh at 8am are a nightmare!

    That is Wednesday done!

Over payment of £20 to a Credit Card yesterday and another £20 today. I am finding most of this over payment money as I no longer take cash to work. I must have been blowing £10-£20 a day or utter crap and food.

Another trick I am now doing is at our local Tesco. They have installed the "self service" tills. I did hate them but now I love them! I head over with all my 2p,5p and 10p's and fill them up when buying food. No breaking notes for me-works really well!

Hope everybody is doing well this week.
