AVOID AT ALL COST. I will never ever go back to Extra Energy not even if there energy would save me £500 a year.

I finished with Extra Energy over 3 months ago. I never received a bill & I still haven't!! My account is £400 in credit & after 46 phone calls made since Decemeber & 3 emails they are still not sending me a Final Bill or refunding me any of my credit. Neither have they even attempted to call me or reply to my emails that I have sent.

I have been passed around to various managers , been made numerous promises ie 1)You have been put on the Priority List so you should receive your bill within 48/72 hours & any credit due.. 2) Your account has been passed to our complaints dept which means they have to resolve & settle account within 48 hours. 3) Your account has been sent to Germany for the frunds & Bill tio be released. 4) Your account has now been passed to one of our Senior Directors & YOU WILL HAVE YOUR MONEY & BILL WITHIN 24 HOURS & I will personally call you back.

Guess What Nothing!!!!.....48 hours after the last promise & still nothing. I have phoned again today & told that they will get back to me.

I have never in my lifetime experienced such an unprofessional company. I have contacted the Ombundsman & given them all the details.

Please Please based on my experience you should AVOID at all cost. Not one bill has been provided in over 9 months!!!

  • I signed up with EE last year as it was a good deal. I was quite happy until I needed to move house. I had a fixed term deal but was told I couldn't transfer that to the new property - I would have to cancel the old contract and set up a new one. I could almost understand the logic of that, but the killer was that I would still have to pay cancellation charges on the old contract even though I wanted to stay with them. They have no idea whatsoever about customer retention. As there was no benefit to staying with them I changed to a different company for my new property. That was on December 5th and I am still waiting for my final bill and refund of account credit. I have tried emailing and calling but they say there's a large backlog and they can give me no idea when I'll get the bill and refund.
  • Question :
Has anyone had a Final Bill !?!?
Has anyone had their credit Refunded without a FIGHT !?!?

I’m really thinking of cancelling my DD at the first signs of spring and summer, I really don’t want to be chasing EE for cash . . .

Does anyone know what there standard charges are for gas and leckie if not paying by DD

Are the EE reps still around looo0l

I transferred my gas in November and electric in December 2014 and no sign of my final bill as yet. However they are doing their best to resolve the issue and its just a matter of being patient.

Personally I do not see the point of keep phoning them and speaking to all and sundry when I know they are on top of the situation.
  • If this shambles is EE doing their best then they,re not going to last long in the energy business.

If any customers owed EE over £400 or any amount then I guarantee EE would send the debt collectors out, so why should EE expect customers to wait for money that,s owed to them.

We,ve decided to leave these amateurs asap, so we do not go into too much credit in our account now the winters almost over.
