Had a quick look at her profile on LinkedIn and she appears to have moved to Places for People Energy this month ... and going down the "People also viewed" column, there are several others who have moved just within the past 3 months

    My daughter has today got a bill ......... for 2Jul 14 to 15 Dec 14 !!
It states it is to replace a bill dated 7 May 15 which she never received and was never debited from her account. She did receive a cancelled bill credit to her account on 7 May (for the bill they did not debit !!) They have also increased her DD again. I will need to bung all the numbers into my spreadsheet to see if it works out but it seems their system is getting worse instead of better. What a shower of incompetent idiots.

EE reps and the likes of Jo Robertson with her humble excuses have all long gone into hiding Hern. I imagine this is because EE actually have no true honest words to share except broken promises which we have all become accustomed to.

If you went for a meal and it was raw, would you pay and leave a tip for the company.
How does a supplier take money and deal up a RAW service and still expect customers to carry on paying them.

Report to BBC watchdog, I really want to see Ann vs Jo.

I'd love to see the mighty Jo Robertson facing the cameras, too, though the sheer quantity of self-reverential babble-speak might be too much for any self-respecting TV set to withstand.

"Extra Energy" is a an affront to consumer intelligence and an enduring testament to what happens when profits are chased by a shoestring outfit that must always have been aware of how short its string was but figured it was worth a punt anyway because hey, who cares, they're only customers, aren't they? And once the UK operation really is in an irredeemable mess, well, we can always sell on that customer supply base to another operator.

The sooner Extra Energy's licence to operate in the UK energy market is pulled, the better.

Must say I got a bill the other day out of the blue and the comment above about a hold on producing bills explains why when I gave a reading in February 2015 for a bill I got one 4 months later. They also tried to reduce a direct debit from £42 per month to £24. No change in usage or anything. Fortunately I am good at maths and keep an eye on usage so reset the DD to £40 to take me through to September when I will jump ship.

The latest public spokesperson for Extra Energy is "Swiss Tony" :D aka Ben Jones, Managing Director - Operations https://uk.linkedin.com/pub/ben-jones/1b/764/166

Unfortunately he appears to be even more out of touch with the reality of what's really happening on the shopfloor within the company than even she was.

This is the latest offering of verbal diarrhea he made on this site earlier in June
'Significant issues with our billing system'

Ben Jones, managing director of Extra Energy, says: "We are a rapidly growing company, and sadly some customers will experience problems as we grow. We fully acknowledge that a small minority of our customers have not had the level of service they deserve.

"That is unacceptable, and we can and must do better, because one customer complaint is one too many. That is why we are acting on feedback from our customers and changing our systems to allow more regular billing.

"Our company is built around serving people, and we work hard to fix problems when they do occur. We are constantly listening to our customers and learning from them. We welcome their feedback, because it makes us better."
Lies, lies and yet more lies. Roll on bloody September when the mass migration begins. :rotfl:

Can't help you with supplier number, unless it's the company registration number which is 8053154.

How to calculate your gas usage:
Subtract previous reading from current reading.
Multiply this number by 2.8317 (if your meter is imperial, if metric miss out this step.
Multiply resulting number by calorific value (39.4813).
Multiply result by meter correction factor 1.02264.
Divide result by 3.6 to convert to KwH.
Multiply times the rate per KwH for gas.

Calculate number of days * standing day rate for gas.

How to calculate your electricity usage:
Subtract previous reading from current reading.
Multiply * rate per KwH for electricity.

Calculate number of days * standing day rate for electricity.

Add all up. Multiply times 1.05 to add VAT.

Ahhh, then I should tell you that on the second page of the bill there's a "lozenge" shaped box. On the left there is an "S" full height. To the right of that there are two rows of numbers. The top line has only 8 numbers but the bottom line says 16 1002 1397 534 (13 numbers I know, but it's the only thing starting with S on the bill).
