  • I have been with EE since October last year and I'm on the Sep 15 tariff. I have still to wait for a bill. I have called them numerous of times, I understand that they send 6 monthly statements but i have been with them for 8 months!
I have called them and they keep making empty promises to send the bill "next week"... two months down the line and i still have no bill.

I sent an email two weeks ago which they promise to reply to within 10 days which still hasn't happened.

I definitely feel like leaving but I just don't want to pay the 50 pound exit charge!

Dont worry, I partially did the same thing when commenting. Just I eventually went further back through the forum and realised how far back Mable had been having issues with EE.

One would say its wise to start at the front of a book rather than the middle.

Ive left them and simply told EE they wont see the early leaving fees as they have broken the contract by not providing bills and by not responding to several complaints in their own set timesframes!

Send the ceo an email asking if he will remove the fees

Rules work both ways in this world so never be put off by the bullying might of corporations.

Im billing EE £12 everytime I have to contact them, this will be deducted out of any monies owed. (sound familiar) :p

I emailed the ceo sunday evening regarding ombudsmans rulings and asked if it was going to be sorted before 23 june,to my surprise monday evening i get a call from a case handler regarding whats going on.heres hoping!!

Back in post 1711 on the 18th May, I wrote that I was sending a letter to EE regarding putting my monthly payment up from £118 to £165 based upon the fact that there was less than 365 days left to my contract and that I would be switched on to their basic tariff after my "fix" finished. I considered this to be breach of contract because they were charging me for potential use after the end of my contract period during my contracted fix period. (This is sort of like saying "we know your mortgage is due to finish in, say, February, but we think you will want a further loan after you've paid it off, so we're going to start you paying that potential further loan off now".)

Well, today, just as I was writing a letter to Citizen's Advice telling them that EE had failed to respond, I got an email!

In a nutshell it says that they are going to reduce my payments to what I was paying up to May 2015 (no mention of the fact that they took the higher sum in June). Do they think I'm simple? Obviously, I want my monthly payment reduced by the increased sum. (£165-£118 = £47 / 3 = roughly £15 per month for the remaining months of my fix = £103 per month, not £118).

Chalk another one up (partially) to me.

I joined in January, all was fine until I decided to leave again in April due to a good collective deal that was being offered with E.ON.

E.ON switched me over OK - but I've been chasing EE for 2+ months now to get a final bill. My account with them is £360 in credit and I have no idea whether they owe me or I owe them as I can't get a bill.

I called again today and finally someone owned up and said they have had an issue with their billing system since *April* which means all bills were stopped as they were inaccurate. I've been told (conveniently) that the issue has been resolved as of today and now they are producing 5000 bills/day so mine will get issued "sometime soon".

If any of this is true - which I doubt - then why no announcement/apology on their website or email to customers?

Baffling, that this bunch still has a licence to operate. Or can any clowns set up an energy supply company in the UK and the regulator not give a damn about how they behave? I haven't followed this thread lately but is the esteemed lady who fronted this bunch still contributing utter twaddle to this thread?? The last one was a classic. But perhaps it was her last.
  • This has to be the worst thing I ever did moving to EE last July- one bill dated September but received March- now nine months since September and still no bill and still no direct debit set up!!! Their staff are beyond useless and they don't reply to emails!!! Cannot wait for September when I can move- people- do not sign up to EE!!!!!!

EE reps and the likes of Jo Robertson with her humble excuses have all long gone into hiding Hern. I imagine this is because EE actually have no true honest words to share except broken promises which we have all become accustomed to.

If you went for a meal and it was raw, would you pay and leave a tip for the company.
How does a supplier take money and deal up a RAW service and still expect customers to carry on paying them.

Report to BBC watchdog, I really want to see Ann vs Jo.
