I think most people on this thread have been proactive. Unfortunately when you put the phone down after speaking to EE

Forgive my pessimism, but it hasn't been sorted yet. 'There's many a slip between cup and lip' and there are 5 days to go before 7th April refund day!
Having said that, Mable i hope you get a full resolution. Not least because it gives the test of us a glimmer of hope! Freudian slip: my predictive text choose 'flimsy' instead of 'glimmer'. Ha ha.0 -

All sorted refund will be in my account on Tuesday 7 April. I have a very good contact in EE.
I (and I'm sure others) look forward to next tuesday with baited breath. You could be the first person to get money back from EE. I intend to bail and go back to edf later this month. Having done the maths I'm not in credit by a huge amount but don't want to leave it before the warmer weather kicks in. We are a year down the line but I can't see any signs of improvement with EE.0 -
I heard about ovo for the first time yesterday and became keen to join as I could top up my electricity meter using an app instead of finding a shop. I later discovered that I cannot use this service as I have electric storage heaters! I could not believe this, since when do we get judged on our heating systems before a company will allow us to become a customer? If anyone knows of a way around this, please help.0

Received another call on my mobile late pm today from EE to confirm the refund has been processed and is on its way to me via BACs and will be in my account on 7 April. Also the complaints dept said they will phone me Tuesday morning to confirm payment received.
I will update you all then and perhaps give you some guidance how to get your money back.0
