I've just noticed that the £12.00 Government Electricity Rebate, which was credited to my account on 13/10/14, has been debited on 20/03/15
Has this happened to anyone else?
Several. Read back a couple of pages (starting #1071, I think).

Just did a Comparison and EE came up £200 less per annum than my current EDF Blue Price Promise March 2016 tarrif

However, having read the last few pages of the thread, I don't think i'll bother switching and wait until I can get a better deal with EDF!

Last October 2014 I received a £12 refund from Extra Energy. Now March 2015 Extra Energy took the £12 back.
Net gain to me Zero. I contacted by phone to be told my account was correct and the £12 is to help me through the winter.
Is it me or is some thing wrong with Extra Energy?
Any assistance or suggestions would be welcome. Thankyou Dave Davies . Merthyr.

I have just this second come of the Phone to the newly set up Complaints Dept @EE.

Although at the bottom of my Final Bill it said that my credit of £279 would be paid into my account on the 12th March......they have now informed me that it should be in my account by the 6th April?????????????

When I challenged them & asked was this definite.....Guess what response I got?????????

No was the answer it was not definite. But if there was a problem they would call me!!!!

What sort of problem could there be I asked?....Reply....''Your Bill might be revised''......................

As you can Imagine ....I let them have it!!!!!!!!!!!!

I give up.......I am now going to try & chill somewhere . 12 weeks running & their incompetence just gets worse!!!!

This is ridiculous nobody should have to put up with this sort of treatment.

I rang to ask why they had taken the £12 back - the girl checked with her manager and said she needed to do an email to another department and they would let me know. I asked again why this had happened and she said she did not know. I also asked when I will be getting a bill and was surprised when she said my bill would be ready in my "portal" in the next few days but they were just manually checking them.
