Update on previous posts....
I left EE at the end of November moved to EDF. After upteen phone calls on my part & numerous lies on there part I received my Final Bill (in fact the one & only bill) on the 2nd March 2015. Showing at the botttom of the bill that I was in credit by £179 & that the money would be credited to my account on the 11th March.
Guess What ....Still Nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....even after even more phone Calls.
Instead I received notification that my April DD would be increased to £179.....(even though I left them in November)
No monies have been credited & like others on here I have now been debited £12 for the Government Rebate.
I phoned yet again 3 times last week & explained that they have no reason what so ever to hold onto my money that is due to me.
Customer Support are unable to give me a reason as to why the money has not been credited to my account.
Yet again after nearly 4 months I am having to face another week of phoing EE to get what is due to me.
Biggest mistake I have made in moving to them.
Ombundsman complaint is now heavily involved.0 -

I left three months ago.0 -
I've just noticed that the £12.00 Government Electricity Rebate, which was credited to my account on 13/10/14, has been debited on 20/03/15
Has this happened to anyone else?0 -
No....There was no mention on the Final Bill of an Exit Fee of £50....however I was told prior to the receiving the Final Bill that this would be billed separately.
At the moment though I am heavily disputing being charged an exit fee due to the number of c..k...s!!! they have made on my account & the number of times I have had to call them.
I don't hold up much hope but to be honest at the moment I would pay anything just to get my account finally closed with them ...so that i never have to deal with them again!!!0 -

From the horses mouth so to speak
quote
Re exit fees: We can’t just remove them as they are part of the tariff but we can insert a credit of £50 called “Exit fee compensation” to cover them off.”0 -
I have just this second come of the Phone to the newly set up Complaints Dept @EE.
Although at the bottom of my Final Bill it said that my credit of £279 would be paid into my account on the 12th March......they have now informed me that it should be in my account by the 6th April?????????????
When I challenged them & asked was this definite.....Guess what response I got?????????
No was the answer it was not definite. But if there was a problem they would call me!!!!
What sort of problem could there be I asked?....Reply....''Your Bill might be revised''......................
As you can Imagine ....I let them have it!!!!!!!!!!!!
I give up.......I am now going to try & chill somewhere . 12 weeks running & their incompetence just gets worse!!!!0 -

Or before doing this a letter before action giving them a deadline to pay?0
