I've just checked my account. They have debited my £12 as well!! I shall be on the phone to them on Monday!

Looks like they have debited the £12 for everyone; they have with the four accounts that I look after for friends / colleagues.

Words fail me with this company! They haven't got a clue what they are doing and shouldn't be allowed to continue trading.

We're still waiting for a call back from the 2nd complaints handler after he promised to come back to me with details about the final (and first) bill; this must have been three weeks ago now. Their customer service is appalling - the worst of any company I have ever dealt with, I wouldn't dream of going near this company ever again.

Anyone considering switching to extraenergy - don't do it!! You will live to regret it!

I like your signature, dave_dph, though in the context of EE it's rather a frightening one!

Thanks catslovelycats, maybe it's time to change it!

Just checked my call records, I spoke to the complaints handler on the 26th Feb, he said he would call me back later the same day. So yes, that was over three weeks ago.

Took the £12 back from me as well. I completely and utterly despair with them even though I have had a bill in the past.

Just checked my inlaws and was debited yesterday and mine taken the same day.

I realise now they have just been stringing me long and and there will no chance of getting any credit back now let alone the final bill.

My patience with this outfit truly as been exhausted now. No more defending them.

What the h.ll is going on there.

I've googled the fuel rebate and can't find anything anywhere about the possibility of it being reversed. Wonder what they are trying to do? Are they in trouble and trying to claw back some money? I can't imagine £12 from each account is going to make a massive difference though, if they are in trouble.

Just checked and they have snatched back my £12 Government Electricity Rebate too.

It would never happen the other way around would it, where EE accidentally credit your account

Yep just checked mine and £12 was debited as of yesterday. What a mess, the phones are going to be red hot next week.

The first thing companies in trouble seem to do is to scoop money legally and irrecoverably into directors' pensions and pay totally legal and irrecoverable bonuses to directors, and in that type of scenario all our £12 rebates would be a welcome addition to the pot. There must be a good few thousand of us.
