I will keep prodding BPA - I will send them the latest letter.
Hope this doesnt go to court could really do without that but I refuse to pay their 'invoice' to park in my own space!
They have so badly contradicted themselves I can't see how this will carry on - Nighthawk have said they wont correspond any further on the matter and TNC have told me in a letter and on the telephone (would like to add the calls have stopped since I mentioned BPA action etc!) that they will pass back to their 'client'.0 -
Good good.
You've seen this, haven't you? - as highlighted by stroma earlier:

Received response from DVLA today - they would like copies of all correspondence to investigate the matter.
Any advice on what I need to stress to these guys much appreciated0 -

How is this operation BPA CoP compliant and how is it fair that a PPC can issue windscreen tickets then routinely ignore registered keepers, just because they farm their paperwork out to a debt collector at a stage when they should be issuing a NTK as part of the appeals stages?
Unless anything's changed, it's a matter of sending something like the above to the DVLA and BPA.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi all
thanks for all of your support! BPA responded with this .... SUCCESS!
Dear XXX
I am writing following our investigation into the complaint you raised with us concerning a parking incident that you experienced with one of our operators – P4 Parking (UK) Ltd – who is a Member of the Approved Operator Scheme. This investigation has been concluded and I wanted to inform you of our findings.
We contacted the operator concerning the issue your raised with regard to the misuse of POFA.
The Notice to Keeper letter that was sent to you by TNC was incorrect, and we have had discussions with them and they have agreed to amend in line with POFA and this in now in the process of being done. Once the letter has been amended a copy will be sent to our Compliance Manager to review to ensure that is following POFA. Therefore in view of this the issue has now been rectified.
The operator has, in view of this, confirmed that the parking charge notice is now cancelled and will be sending you confirmation by letter.
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention and endeavouring to assist us in our efforts to drive up standards in the parking industry.
Yours sincerely
Approved Operator Scheme Team0
