Does that make it more or less likely that they will honour the pricing error?

I have no idea I'm afraid... I don't know a lot about Uk trading law, and even less about US trading law!

I see on another forum a few people have had their orders cancelled now, so I guess we'll all get something similar at some point soon!

I very much doubt they have taken the money out your account. They have most likely just 'earmarked' it - meaning that the funds are set aside for them when they want to take it, but they are still in your account. Your account balance will be as it was before, but your available balance will be £25.24 lower.

At least, that is what happened with me - they have just earmarked the amount from my account, no change as of this morning. No change on the order status website either.

I have paid by switch. They have taken the funds completely. I.e, money has gone from my account.

Itsbeef, yes a misprice is a misprice, and thats what normally happens, they say sorry we can't sell it. BUT the major difference is, they do not take the money, i..e they see the order, either process it or don't. If they honour the misprice, they then take the money and send your order. If they don't, they tell you (normally a lot quicker than apple have too!!) and do not take any money from you, they don't even earmark it.

With apple, they have taken, fully (not just earmarked, not for anyone who paid with a maestro / switch / solo type card anyway) the money for the item. The mispriced amount, not the 'proper' amount.

The constitutes a sale under law.

I paid with a debit card as well - I don't own a credit card - but the funds are still only earmarked, not completely gone (at least last time I checked) - they still do that with debit cards. I may pop into my bank to check properly, but my account balance / available balance suggests that. I suggest you check again, because I suspect that is what is happening.

Well my bank account has had £25.24 paid out via a switch payment so as I see it they are agreeing to seel the item for that amount.

But as we know they will worm their way out of it as usual.

the delivery (if it ever comes) should be tomorrow or at least by the weekend.

delivery could have been from yesterday-but they can't deliver it until they despatch it, and they certainly aren't in any hurry to do either.

Also as it's an estimated delivery I dare say their t&C allow them to deliver in 15 years when it will be down to price!

If the camera was anything to go by, they will just allow the "not yet shipped" to sit there for 2 - 3 weeks and the quietly delete them, with maybe an email.
