They have most likely just 'earmarked' it - meaning that the funds are set aside for them when they want to take it, but they are still in your account. Your account balance will be as it was before, but your available balance will be £25.24 lower.
At least, that is what happened with me - they have just earmarked the amount from my account, no change as of this morning. No change on the order status website either.

Hi Chris
Well I got a text message from my bank this morning advising of my balance and i checked the bank online too - the payment has been made. My balance is £25 less than it ought to be and the dosh shows as having gone to Apple ... so I assume they've been paid.
Order status still the same. Not yet shipped. No emails or fone calls to home, office or mobile.
Ho hum.
Back to lunchbreak. Real yucky sandwich too. Ugh.

Mine is deffo gone too. Money has left my account.0

Fair enough - in that case, you have a leg to stand on. Mine still APPEARS to be just earmarked, but my balance on a cash machine has been quite slow to update recently so I don't know.0

I am in the same situation as a lot of you. It still says it's not yet despatched, but they have taken the money from my account. I thought that the money had just been deducted from my available balance, but today it shows 'Apple Computers Inc' having taken the money completely. The most annoying thing, if we don't get the product, will be the way that they have dealt with the whole situation. No communication what so ever. Also, as a student at the very limit of my overdraft, i have been unable to buy anything for the last 3 days. If they just refund it and say "whoops, we made a mistake AND took your money" i will not be pleased. They shouldnt just be able to take my money and then give it back days later. Rant over...lol0

They shouldn't, and they can't. I might have to do some reading up, but I'm pretty sure that if they take your money, a contract for the sale has been made and agreed.
I'm actually hoping they have taken the money now...0 -
If anyone wants to try and find the relevant bit...

I will have a look later, when I am home from work.0 -
from apple terms:
"2.5 If we accept your Order, we will notify you of our acceptance by issuing an Order Confirmation. We will send your Order Confirmation to you by e-mail provided you have indicated an e-mail address on your Order Form. Otherwise we will send the Order Confirmation by post. The Order Confirmation will be effective on sending. If we cannot accept your Order we will attempt to contact you by email or telephone or post."
Noone here has got an order confirmation, so I don't know if it counts as them accepting the order or not, but equally they have not attempted to contact anyone by the methods above, so you can claim that they must have accepted our orders, because they would have contacted us if they didn't. It doesn't specify a timescale though.
Also, I don't know where those terms stand legally.0 -
Additions direct took over the amount agreed on my account 3 weeks ago and despite me cancelling the goods because they charged me more (not a miss price either but used a discount code) I am still waiting, even though they said it should be in my account on Friday or mid week at latest, which still isnt in.I am in the same situation as a lot of you.
