Sticking with the new style lists for another week, each day will give you some basic flying, some deep cleaning choices and some decluttering choices. As ever feel free to pick and mix what needs doing for you according to your ability and time.
................................
Welcome to the weekly Flylady thread. If you need help organising your week or getting motivated when it comes to housework then come and join us.

Thank you Dusty for last week's thread

Every room comes back around next week so please don’t stress about catching up

These lists are only suggestions and not a must do list; you are more than welcome to post and follow your own lists.

Also adding a declutter mission each day will help to gradually clear the clutter and make flying easier.

A few of the basics before we start the week

Hotspots are areas where if one thing gets put there, loads of other things follow!

Daily routines are anything you need to do on a daily basis like washing, swish and swipe kitchen and bathroom, ironing, making beds, vacuuming high traffic areas, making meals etc.

Night-time routines are all things which make getting ready in the morning easier, preparing clothes for the next day, making lunches, swish & swipes of the kitchen and tidying the living room before you go to bed plus personals like shower/brush teeth etc.

Fling Boogie - stick on some loud music, grab a bin bag and whiz around the house finding items that can go out with the rubbish, recycling, for charity shop, basically anything that will stop it cluttering your home.

Swish and swipe/S&S means have a quick wipe over an area such as a sink or toilet to prevent the build up of dirt. This is usually done on a daily basis

HHE/HHC/HHI Half Hour exercise/challenge/ironing ... run around for 30 minutes to the Benny Hill music frantically cleaning exercising or ironing.. other music may be used if you prefer!

garden looking much better loads done over the weekend and lots of clutter cleared
made a boxed in edge for the bed at the bottom of garden from scaffold planks.
emptied compost bin and dug it all the new bed, lawn has been cut, 3 annoying saplings that self seeded and we kept cutting back have now been dug out so shouldnt bother us again. set of non working solar lights, a broken patio chair and 3 big broken planters have been binned, other solar stick lights have been put in a sunny border t see if they will hold a charge if not they'll be binned and new ones got. 6 bags of weeds cutting etc are on the front awaiting collection and DH stained the plank edges once they were finished.
have planted a load of stuff from the broken tubs into the new bed on a its got two chances school of gardening principle.
relaid some uneven slabs (and upset a few ants nests!)
donated a potted chestnut tree to the local school and a couple of rooted flowering plants that had just got too big for our beds and needed splitting.
patio tablre and brolly is back up from its winter quaters at the bottom of the garden and the washing line is in its summer position on the lawn instead of the patio.

just cut a skirt out to test the fit on a pattern i want to make should hopefully be able to make a start on that and S&S the kitchen and bathroom before work, avon lady has been with more bubble bath, and company we want a price off for sofitts fascias etc has rung to confirm appt

have a funeral to go to this afternoon so wont be about later.

I've just had to spend 10 minutes trawling though my old posts looking for the last time I moaned about AF! :o I was convinced that she hadn't turned up on time but apparently she's due any moment. I'll get the kettle on :p

I have had an uncharacteristically busy weekend -- out for dinner Friday night, hospital appointment for DH's scan Saturday morning, then out for lunch (oink), gig on Saturday night, lots of flying yesterday including putting the kitchen blind back up after I pulled it down on Monday. I don't know my own strength :D Despite all yesterday's efforts it's a pigsty in here, I've spent the morning cleaning the kitchen including half-heartedly scrubbing the oven. Still not finished in there but it's getting better.

The bathroom is disgusting and will be next on my list, then the ironing -- despite doing a good hour's worth yesterday there's still more.

BLAH! I know I will feel better when it's done but sometimes I hate having to do it :o

I'm in very gently this week (thanks to Dusty and Natty for lists and inspiration, btw). This latest flare has really knocked me sideways, and I'm under orders from Mr LW to leave anything I can't manage. (Mind you, what he doesn't know won't kill him..... ).

Jessie was picked up a couple of hours ago, so whatever else doesn't get done, I must go round with the Dys0n and remove the black dog hairs. The kitchen floor got an impromptu wash at silly o'clock this morning, as Mr LW kicked Jessie's water bowl over.

I've loaded the WM with Mr LW's jeans and dark t-shirts; I'll set it to come on during cheaper leccy hours, and Mr LW can hang the clean stuff up tomorrow morning.:o

Managed to eat a sitty-downy Frog yesterday; I've been meaning to tidy the boxes of souvenir programmes from various opera/theatre productions; that's now done.:o It had got left because the boxes are heavy, but Mr LW hauled them through for me.:A

The grass needs cutting again, but I'm afraid that's well beyond my capabilities; the mower we have is a hover type, and there's no way I can manage that. The little wheeled one went bang a while back (with spectacular flames  ) so we've had to resurrect the old one, wwhich we had stored in the loft.:D

Deffo going to do dog hair removal now; this post has only got this long as displacement activity.:rotfl:
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Excellent procrastination for a few minutes there LW, well done ;)

Kitchen finished, apart from a quick mop which I'll do now in a minute.
LR dusted, hated coffee table polished, more lily stamen removed.
Bathroom scrubbed and shined, again just needs a quick mop.
Our BR dusted, it was gross _pale_
Window cleaner is here, doing a rubbish job as always
Just need to mop, shove the vac around a bit and maybe squeeze in a HHI before DS1 gets home. Parents evening for him tonight, for which he has booked the grand total of two slots with teachers, I'd be cross if they hadn't sent his report home last week so I know he's doing really well.

No, LW, but it might not do *you* much good, and that would make things more difficult for Mr LW, so please go easy on yourself.

I am still working from my own lists rather than the "official" one. DH has been working in the utility, filling holes and sanding down, so we have got a thin film of white dust in the DR, hall and kitchen

I am failing spectacularly in my attempt to do any of the computer work that needs to be done by next Monday, and our week is getting filled up with other things to distract me further. The lovely weather is a constant reminder that I want to get out in the garden. I have been tackling the weeding a square metre at a time and making progress slowly but surely. The 72 mini-plug plants are growing nicely, and I've had an offer of whatever bits I want from a friend's garden, so it should not be difficult to refill the borders once I've cleared the overgrown stuff :)

This morning DH and I drove to the next town, where I used to live before I met DH, to a wonderful :mse: shop that I have patronised for many years, to get a cheap wall cabinet for the utility and new matching doors for all the units. They're making it up specially for us so we shall have to go back and collect on Wednesday morning, but that's OK - just another distraction, and there are enormous swathes of daffodils along the main road which are absolutely beautiful and well worth seeing again :j

Glad you're back with us this week, Skinty.
    Any sign of FBO?
Well done on your gift voucher discovery, dancemum :T
Dusty, hope you have a better week.

(((Hugs))), spoons and sticks all round.

I've got about an hour left at the computer before the sun comes round the corner of the house and blinds me, then I'll just *have* to go out and weed :D
