Just a quick one - tongue firmly in cheek.
Has anyone actually hear of anyone being deferred so far this year?
By this point last year, I'd actually had a letter to say I was deferred again.
I'm getting very worried they're going to overshoot our deferment end dates this time (regardless of their 'assurance' of the extra days). Simply don't trust them.

I have heard from a few that have been deferred, and in good time. But then again, they cant have had many DAFs back until the last few days.

@ BaffledByErudio Yes, and with a ''defaced' DAF too - Erudio told me by email in January:

If any deferment form is amended or defaced or changed in any way from the original documentation we send then this will be declined

.
Erudio are at least consistent with one thing - say one thing and do another!

Nobody's here to get at you. You'll find people who can help. In your case, the proof of Indefinate DLA award from 1991 and ESA from 2012-ongoing is very much in your favour. I would strongly recommend going to your local Citizens Advice Bureau to see if you can make use of their Advocacy service.

A really interesting and enlightening read here, about Arrow Global and CarVal's (I didn't realise CarVal is a owned by Arrow Global) involvement in the Portuguese debt market. Erudio and Mark Filer get special mention, and I think it goes some way in explaining the bargain purchase price of our loans, and how that debt is repackaged so that Arrow Global/CarVal can maximise profit:

Its not, the article is inaccurate. However, it does team up with Arrow on more than just us. CarVal is the company with the never ending pockets, owned by Cargill INc and using and abusing its revenue/profit. Here is who CarVal is straight from the horses mouth:

Unfortunately though, Mark Filer is a nothing. Hes just a stooge who puts his name forward for the Wilmington Trust. Zach Lewy is the one responsible for all decisions related to our loans. After all, he was the one who negotiated the deal. I know that because i spoke to the person at BIS in charge of the process. Filer is just the smoke screen that Lewy, CarVal and the yet to be named other members of the consortium hide behind, in the same way Erudio doesnt really exist but on paper for exactly the same people to hide behind.

Indeed. I was reading Owen Jones' The Establishment the other day. I thought id give it a shot, and was rather surprised how incendiary it is on that very issue you mention Brooker Dave. Its been going on a long time, but never as quickly as it is today. The revolving door is one that needs to be slammed shut. Wait until TTIP arrives, we havent seen nothing yet as they say. One can only imagine what would happen if the UK leaves the European Union, leaving the conservatives negotiating that trade deal without any stops. These US companies and their owners' ethos' (like Lewy, CarVal, let alone the Saudi wealth finds and the like) and their disgusting predatory behaviour will be ushered in so fast the country will be on its knees quicker than Osbourne and Cameron (and any other neo-liberal like Blair) have already achieved.
