MSE forum is asking for anyone else like dadsgoneshopping who has been waiting for a DAF to arrive 8 weeks before deferment since the announcement 2 weeks ago to contact them or post here as soon as.

My DAF should have arrived last Thursday at the latest, still waiting (nothing in post today)... GinOClock's right, it's time to boot up MS Word and fire off a complaint :)

Could be statute-barred? It looks like there's been no contact/acknowledgement of the debt by either side for years - I think the time limit's 6 years (5 in Scotland).

It looks like the planets have just aligned for you Anna. MSE forum has just found the perfect person to have not gotten their DAF...the mistakes just keep coming. I'd have thought Zach Lewy would have turned up in person a week before and hand delivered yours with a complementary glass of your favourite tipple. But they never learn...
MSE's forum feed where they are asking for people on twitter is here: https://twitter.com/MSE_Forum (scroll down and you will see it)
  • Very worrying that this poster says she is now feeling suicidal over what Erudio might do, as there is no way she would be able to pay them if they start demanding payment. http://www.legalbeagles.info/forums/showthread.php?79946-Strange-Erudio-letter&goto=newpost

I would suggest someone needs to enroll on that site and get them to visit this forum so that they know they are not alone etc, and to get some support.

    A glass simply won't do erudioed... a bottle?... no, a case :D

I'm not on twitter, do you know who I can PM at MSE? I wonder if we can get it confirmed via MSE that deferment applications by letter will be accepted in the meantime? Borrowers shouldn't be inconvenienced or put at an unfair disadvantage because of Erudio's inability to send out an admin form. It would benefit Erudio too, as it gives them more time to process the applications, while they sort out their systems so they can manage to get DAFs sent out. A fair compromise, and a win-win situation, surely? :)

They've said in the past that their systems aren't setup to be able to deal with written deferment applications...
