Probably because "Erudio Student loans" have had so many complaints they might be denied full authorisation.
No problems just shift the loans on to a new companies books (which will have a spotless clean record of zero complaints) and get approved.

Perhaps Capita have decided to bail on the contract?
All those FOS complaints and all the £100 compo payments can't have done much for contract profitability?
That said perhaps Erudio mk2 is being prepared for the next batch of loan selloffs? Or to turn the screws on those unwilling to accept the new T&Cs and the ones who've not paid anything for years?
Oddly offshore billionaires seem to get the heads up on government policy before they announce pre-decisions to us plebs.

Fat chance of of that, our "light touch" regulators have never cared about the finance industries hapless customers and their actual rights.
They are just there to give the impression that these parasites are regulated and under control, which they are obviously not.
Well paid jobs for the well connected boys, innit."Love you Dave Brooker! x"

Arrow Global purchased a company called Capquest last year, a debt management service, run by Helen Ashton. Its smaller but provides a similar customer service operation to Capita and more specific debt management approach. Capita are just hired to take care of a clients needs, so the staff are not Arrow staff nor have much personal involvement. Ashton then later put a message on the Erudio ghostsite a few months back apologising and suggesting things would change. Then she was poached by another company and it was the last we heard of her.
Maybe Capita are still running the frontline customer service, which is why its still a shambles, but it does seem rather coincidental. I dont know if it has anything to do with this new name change though, or what that company is for.0 -
I've had a look at the complaints data on the FOS website. It seems that FOS upheld complaints against Erudio in 74% of cases in the last six months. This is 15th highest out of all organisations that data is collated for (a very long list, and Erudio is even higher than Wonga). Looking at the list, about half of the 14 companies above Erudio have had the complaint success rate inflated by PPI complaints, so Erudio's performance is actually even worse than it looks.0

Actually, you can refine the sort further to just include complaints for banking and credit. By this metric, Erudio has the 5th highest proportion of FOS complaints found in favour of the consumer (74%). The average for all businesses, in terms of the proportion of complaints found in favour of the consumer for credit and banking, is 29%.
Being in the top 5 of the FOS list of shame - not very good for Erudio!0
