Has anyone complained to the FOS and heard back?

My complaint is with the FOS as of 4/8/2014, they will be in touch in three weeks.

I got Erudio's final response to my first two complaints today so will be forwarding them on to the FOS. Erudio are insisting on me using their DAF or they will not defer me yet I have it from our own beloved govt that :

"Borrowers have the same rights and obligations as they had when their loans were managed by the Student Loans Company. Erudio have adopted a different approach to the deferment application process which does not constitute a change to terms and conditions.
[FONT=&quot]The method of the deferment process is not part of the terms and conditions of the loan."

So nothing under the law to say I have to use their DAF. I have met the conditions for deferment with my cover letter and three months wage slips. This is set for court if my legal adviser thinks its has merit. Really sick to death of the whole bloody thing!

We have to hope that Eurdio/Arrow are just chancers, and will leave those who challenge thier suspect practices alone and just target the sheep?

nice to see you back baffledbyerudio. I enjoyed reading your post if its possible to enjoy reading something about these vultures.
Just spotted a new FOI request that i personally thought is right on the money but may amuse one or two as well. If it gets answered honestly by BIS, which it definitely wont, more people than just us will be asking some serious questions.
    Here it is anyway:

UPDATE: looks like someone else likes that FOI request on twatter

I think the second bit might give the BIS the chance to say it's too expensive to find the info.

I'd like to see what I signed back in the 90s too, yet Erudio has yet to come up with the goods. I paid for a subject access request (Erudio acknowledged it, back in April) and I still haven't heard a dickie bird!

I applied for it and got it - have to find it, as it wasn't where I expected it to be. It was basically a copy of a copy of a copy, so almost illegible. If I find it I'll come back with it.

  • I am sick to the core about all of this. This is more than just a bit fishy, it's crystal clear what's gone on here.

I am not paying a penny to these cowboys. There's no way I'm going through this for the next 8 or 9 years either. I intend to fight this to the highest power. Let's see what the courts have to say. It only takes one person to have a victory and this whole thing comes crashing down.

Anyone think we could get 100,000 signatures on a petition? Or would that be a waste of time?

I see Martin is talking about Erudio on 5Live at lunchtime today. I wish he could step in and sort this mess out.

I guess I'll be joining you in making a complaint in the coming weeks. I'm too nervous about using their form. Maybe I'm being paranoid but I don't want to risk inadvertently signing up to new terms and conditions.

I'm just in the process of gathering together all the income evidence and will be sending it with a cover letter (a tweaked version of something posting on this thread).

Do you mind if I ask whether they've taken any payments from your account or has the complaint put that on hold? I guess I'll have to ready myself for a fight.

I really don't want a big battle but I'd rather do it now than face this year after year.

    What a nightmare!
