Whilst this is fun there is some evidence that a computer monitors your call & then puts the numbers where the call lasts longer at the top of the list for re-calls & to sell on to other scammers so you re better off just putting the phone down immediately

I have wondered that as I have tried to waste their time but still get repeat calls.

But it just does not seem logical. Their calls to me must obviously cost them a lot of money with nothing to show for it. I also doubt whether they have any way of transferring their call charges to the person receiving their calls.
  • Hi, just had a call from this number today so it's still in use.

They are fun. I love it when they call and show off my technical ICT knowledge and they don't have a clue what I'm on about or I play along as if I don't have a scooby Doo with computers. Another time I pretended to be a bit deaf. There was one time they called and I said I had to finish what I was doing with a photo software they said I had to close it and I said I have minimised it. They then asked me to press control and R at the same time. I said that it was a blank blue screen. He said to do it again and I said that the computer had shut down and restarted and have slowed down. After 7 minutes of keeping him on the line I lied about pressing control and R at the same time and said that a dialogue box as come up and a load of old files for me to move into sub categories. The man didn't know how to carry on the conversation.
  • I lead them on and tell them after about 20 minutes I use a mac.

  • Had a call from this number at 10.59 31st July. Fortunately I was in a meeting so just logged on here to see if I needed to call back so thanks everyone for the intelligence.
  • Just had a call earlier today from this number. I hung up before answering.
How do you stop them ringing your mobile?
  • I just had a call from this number too and if it is those Microsoft scammers from what I've heard they used to work for Microsoft till the entire sister company was thrown out because of calls like this since then they have been linked to criminal and terrorist activities what I find most funny tho is I never even had any call from them till I got an iPhone..............
