We too have had loads of these calls. For a few I have told them I work for Grampian Fraud Squad, and we are on our way!!

Another time I played along and then said to the young Indian Chap called Trevor
Me: Can I ask you a question?
Trevor: Yes of course
Me: How do you sleep in your bed at night?
Trevor: Pardon?
Me: Same question repeated
Trevor: I don't understand what do you mean?
Me: Do you sleep well at night?
Trevor: Yes but why do you ask me that?
Me: Well you obviously have no conscience then if you sleep well
Trevor: I don't understand
Me: You are scamming people and stealing from people so I just wanted to know how you sleep at night spending your day doing this to innocent people.
Trevor: Silence then the dialling tone.

2 mins later phone rings again. It is Trevor
Trevor: Why did you ask how I sleep at night?
Me: You think about it Trevor, you think about it. Thank you and goodnight.

2 minutes later phone rings again. It is Trevor again
Trevor: I am very upset at what you said
Me: Good, goodnight and don't call me back!

Just had a missed call from these people this morning. I have an iPhone so blocked the call lol

I just received a call from +1 210-249-0540. It is different from the Microsoft topic. a recorded message was played mentioning PPI related matter, again, another old topic. Just to make people aware... this number also call for different purpose. careful people!

I had a missed call this morning, which my iPhone helpfully told me was a Texas, USA number. I thought, who the frock would call me from America? Being a suspicious old !!!!!!, I Googled the number and found this thread, as well as lots of other information of the same ilk.

I have now blocked the number. Drowning in burning oil is too good for some people.

I received a call from this number this morning so I have blocked their number. I also received a call from +1 (604) 306-5951 British Columbia, Canada at 11:52pm a few days ago. Have blocked their number too. Wondering if I can block all numbers from outside Europe - will have to investigate.

This number called today but no one spoke. In looking up how to block these international or unknown number calls I came across a BT 6500 phone cheap on eBay that has a nuisance call block feature that can block these whilst having a VIP list to allow certain numbers through. BT still charge a monthly fee to block numbers so this phone looks like it'll pay for itself in no time.

The BT 6500 will only block 10 numbers though.
