Evening all, so I forgot to pop back and edit my signature for challenges- Made £6.51 yesterday (halifax reward, quidco &interest) and another £10 today (taxi services lol) not a bad start. 100 offer on ebay again...I will upload things, I will! Ordered a new bank account, am milling over pulling funds from my cc @1.9%charge (£116ish) & 0% interest till feb16 to clear my debt3 at 75% cost (saving 3k off the total:money:) then chucking everything I have on the card as a when I get it- payment a day style...still thinking this over..but thats where im at at the minute... Still in 2minds as ever. Night out with work was £20 damage actually £25 as I opted to train in the next day (was feeling a bit green). Not a great start but onwards and upwards ay. Anyway weekend in hope to save some pennies...and pounds! Nothing much else to report really...happy and feeling blessed..hope everyone has a great weekend xX

    Afternoon Diaryland-

Today ive had £1.20 refunded from lotto account (left over funds so I withdrew it) and been given £10 argos gift voucher (valid till june) so will use that to buy fathers day gift/ Nephew B'day pressie hehe so counting that as part of my £5pd challenge. Its true "money does come easily & frequently"- do love an affirmation!! Give it a go it seems to be working for me. Other than that not much to report, purse strings are pulled tight, really trying not to spend anything this bank holiday- heres hoping. Hope your all having a good one xX

p.s-Email sent to D3 finance department to ask for hard copy of discount settlement figure along with clarification on whether this settles the payment or it will be listed as part paid and to ensure that if it is taken then the account will be closed (ie no one chasing me for more) Will wait to hear from them.

Won sanctuary set from bingo will see if I can ebay it. Few bits to upload onto flea bay...time to make some more money. :D

    Hiya Shelbi,

Your plans looking great. Don't know what to recommend about paying off with a CC but I'm sure you will weigh up the pro and cons of each way.

Loving the determination babes, your figure just keeps rising and rising xx

Thanks Trix:D, I'm at a loss too... debt for debt choice is hard, though I find the banks scarier (dont know why though, it would be less money) saying that I do like the idea of being able to pay off here and there even small amounts and being able to do a payment a day..ohhh and I can check the app & get a daily balance..yup im officially sad I know :rotfl: ill continue to think on those pro's and cons...thanks hun xX

Today was a nsd, I also managed to make a further £3.50 (well call it commission fees ;) ) not bad for a days work...tis small but a start.

Watched the "the C Word" feeling emotional and grateful right now...was so good, made me laugh and smile...some people are so courageous...a decent Sunday...still no ebay uploads though...its top of my to do list tomorrow.

I will no procrastinate anymore  cheers all.. sweetdreams xX

    Evening all,

So worked my little socks off poll checking, was fun and enjoyable...long hours though, trained in couldnt bike this morning, was amazed I got out of bed for work. So today was pretty tiring nsd except travel- £5 damage...but I really was exhausted, need to get back on my bike though and get some toning and weight loss sorted!

Plus points £36.49 confirmed from quidco...sometimes it helps to chase things up, will add that to my extra in earnings... Nothing much else to report.

Overall happy day, but very happy its the weekend...like uber happy, I need to catch up on sleep....Happy Friday y'all xX

    Good Morning All,

So weekend spends thus far- £5 sis pocket money (why i started this i dont know but surprisingly she has been saving and wants to buy a phone-im quite proud of her for this, tis a good lesson) £10 prize money for Saturday bingo club, £5 loan to my bro and£10 on lotto- I know its a mugs game but 5m wouldnt be if Id won it, still have 3 weeks left maybe ill get 3 numbers and recoup my costs with profit (fingers crossed).

Anoyingly went to the library to study yesterday and forgot to turn my wi-fi back on when i got home, have overused my data, how much this will cost I dont know- will check tomorrow as it hasn't updated- fingers crossed its only a couple of quid.

On plus sides- did get work done, had a great Saturday- with family and friends too. Took a leaf out of Trixxi's book and deleted/moved pictures to make space for more music on my phone. Watched a film with sis, was nice and cheap evening (bar the other spends)- as you can see I earn and spend (at least this time theres a bit left over so I am getting better) at least extra earnings is covering it i guess, better than the usual.

Need to locate cards for friends birthday, a cake and a wee gift- spend will be £5 budget. Were going spa and I cant wait! I need a massage and some fun time...its been forever. Will have £20 note in my urse as just incase for the trip. I dont expect to spend that its emergency money. will make snacks and things for the drive down. last time we ordered pizza to the hotel we were staying in rather than eat at the fancy expensive hotel) this time I think dinner is included but i should check.

Cant think of anything else...hope you all having a wonderful and frugal Sunday..I'm gonna aim for a nsd today...have a good one xX

    Evening all,

So I wrote a long post only to have my laptop cut out and it disappeared...actually I cant be that witty twice (was hard enough the first time) so short-ter and sweeter it is:

Spend day- £11 on treats for office, needed to be done haven't contributed this month (lunch was included in that total). Havent cycled to work either that changes tomorrow..been really slack with this. Really need to get my "isht" together.

In other news spa got cancelled :( ...Birthday mummy to be feeling swollen and pregnant & didnt feel up to spa-ing it...and we decided we cant go without her. We will instead visit her at home laden with treats to cheer her up a bit.

Well slight silver lining is £79 refund, £9 of which will go towards my food parcel contribution...will try a SW recipe (for me) as well as cake for the girls..That will make her smile..Plus point of being with child is they can eat what they like as they eating for two.

Also I save on petrol, north london much less drive than Reading..guess its win win....Although am a bit worried about my friend to turn down spa it must be bad...Pregnancy doesn't sound fun at all...good job theres an adorable baby at the end of it or no one would bother- I mean sickness, swelling, bladder the size of a tangerine & no wine...sounds horrendous?! But have to admit I am really excited about meeting the little one...want cuddles!

Moving on- Letter received from D3, confirming settlement figure £10,223.41 & funds transferred from cc & 0% with a 1.90% transfer fee (141 odd)- just need to pay it over, will update my figure once its done. That will cut the balance from 13.5k to 7.5k- ish...happy days.:money:

Work is good, has been busy im trying hard to be more organised and focused...I will get there! Weigh in tomorrow not looking forward to this- need to fight harder to lose the weight and the debt. Everything seems a mess at the minute but i'm sifting through bit by bit. First task get back on bike get some exercise. Prepare meals in advance and get rid of this excess blubber:rotfl:..no more fatty foods- crisp, biscuits and chocolate is out- fruit, veg and nuts are in- kill me now!!:rotfl::rotfl:

PAD's to cc will start once i've transferred over funds (will update signature then too) Aiming to keep a little back as emergency fund- £500 should do it.

Everything is a bit hiklty picklety but im feeling a small sense of order coming. Reading ss1k diary Ill have a look on that art of cleaning thing..sadly my environment is in the same state as my body, finances and mind...a bit of a mess:o!

So here we go! 43 days till Debt Free Goal date!!:eek::eek: I need to get working- and fast!!

Night guys, sorry for the longer than expected post- see you tomorrow- (hopefully a couple of pound lighter- fingers crossed) new day, same goals, more effort!! Goodnight xX
