  • Hi Shelbi

At least you've realised what needs to change. It's hard, but the LBMs seem to guide us the right way, painful though they can be, and you still seem to be in a better place financially overall.

Keep going, you are doing well

Tomorrow am training for poll check so I get paid for that, hope I get picked for it as am doing reserve training can happen between now and May *fingers crossed* extra income would be well received. Have some new bits to put on ebay (ill make it back bit by bit)..but will have wait for next Sunday (best time for sales apparently :)..

    Evening all,

Wow its been a while, not so much debt busting going on but more keeping my head above water and enjoying a few scenic views...thought id best check in and get some motivation..then figured id delurk and update my diary. So like i said ive not been debt busting as such, car serviced, MOT &tyres- £400 odd bill, couple of nights out and couple of clothes...nothing major but time to fess up, reign it in and get sorted.

Today spent listening to Dave audio and relearning the ways. have transferred my emergency fund in with my savings...all to santander which offers a better rate of interest. mobile transferred to get a few pennies on cash back. and need to have a good read of NSK's diary and have a word with myself. On the plus side lifes good, the weather is sweet and its all up hill from now.

Two weeks until the next payday, ive £70 in another account that will pay my share of next weeks rent and a further £95 in my purse which will be banked tomorrow and hopefully added to savings if everything goes to plan & i manage 14 nsd's *fingers crossed*

Created a new 100% grid for the last debt for the full amount- £13,958.00 am thinking to pay this off in full rather than 75%, theres no real reason I cant pay back the full amount as quickly as possible, kinda worried if I pay a settlement it will come back and bite me on the bum later down the road. So as it stands the task is £13958.00 in bite sized chunks of 1% £139.58 so far im on 16% seems soooo far away...oh and i still want to do it by June15..sod it why not..thats 76 days away I think which is £183.65 per day:eek: I know it makes no sense..its impossible but I figure to just keep squirrelling and see how we go! Ill be closer to my target than I am now anyway lol!

Goals - No NSD till payday so that 14nsds, write in diary everyday to keep myself on track again, say no to wine as thats what sends my spending out of control lol! Be happy and grateful for all I have and how far ive come. one last push...The chains are coming off this year if its the last thing I do...wish me luck & have a fab & frugal Friday folks xX
