    Summary:
    fixed expenses 766.38
    debt payment 1,132.8

Not looking very impressive for Sept/Oct but its a start and at least in the right direction..have worked out my debt payment needs to be minimum of £1992.55 a month to make sure I get back in the black, take home is only £2244 so already a challenging bar, but I am determined to reach this goal and clear it.

I predict I may have a couple of slow months leading up to Christmas, as its birthday season in these here parts. Still I will be debt free on the 26th June 2015, its a case of get debt free or go bust trying. September ill be £859.75 short of target, will need to think on this:think:...So Only 10 payday's until im debt free ...but on the other hand ONLY 10 paydays till im debt free:j ....I choose to see the positive in 10 months ill be saving for my own little place...sorry I realise I say this alot, I just have to keep the goal in sight, so please forgive my sounding like a scratched record :rotfl:

Have decided that after the credit down ill stick with making my regular payments to d3 and will put the over payment in savings to offset the balance and call up and pay it in one lump, at least ill get a little interest and it will motivate me to hit that bar as d3 has no statement or visual checking like the credit card app, instead I will save like a demon, then payout of the proceeds, I started in December so hopefully theyll send me a statement of sorts, if not will request one, when I first got the bill they offered a £17k bill if I paid in full unfortunately I didnt have the funds then, I wonder if they would accept that if I had it at the ready in the future? thats almost a 5k difference from the original bill, gosh I hope so that would be awesome, still no point wondering on it now ill just wait and see when ive got the money, let me just get these next few months and cc2 out of the way first:cool: ...Tonight I feel drained but blessed, hope everyones having a good evening:)... sorry about my ramblings:o x

  • Wow those are some seriously incredible numbers! If I were you I wouldn't feel disheartened AT ALL for those kind of repayments.

It's nice to see that other people shift around the budget depending on what's happening that month - I've found this works much, much better for me than trying to plan out a vague amount for things every month.

    Good morning diaryland,

Have paid over £3 from dregs of account I literally have £1 in the bank, which I will send over tomorrow morning (last of the big spenders me).

On a positive note found 20p roadkill and walked past a shop which were having a sale on keep calm mugs 99p, now I have to recheck as I was in a rush but if so will get one and give it as a birthday pressy for my mum, she has a £10 budget, will also get her a bottle of fenjal (she loves that) using my boots points so remaining will balance to pay will be £1.10. hehe winning! Its the thought that counts! May grab another couple of mugs for xmas pressy's!! save some on that £5pp xmas budget...I hope I read it right still if not theres always £1 actually ill wait to start the xmas shop will do it in Nov as I havent budgeted for it and any savings are for the cc.

Okies I best get dressed, 2days till payday wooohoooo!! Im excited!
Oh for the first time I actually popped to waitrose with a friend and didnt get anything other than a free tea, was very happy with this...self control is coming slowly but surely.

    Have a wonderful Wednesday everyone..xX

But at least I have a place to study, always feel sleepy when I study on my bed, will make use of the library too this weekend too!

Have been researching xmas part time jobs, evening jobs and weekend jobs, anything to get a bit of extra income. night shift at tesco's wondering how much sleep a person needs, anyway I cant do anything unntil December I need to clear my exam then I can look at an extra job, weyhey!

  • Ooh the envelopes are a good idea! I've been wanting to try the envelope system but haven't managed to physically implement it because I have a very lovely wallet and couldn't think how to fit them in - after all we're not as lucky to rely so much on paper money like the US that you can paperclip together. Tiny envelopes for the change might be the way forward!

Thanks Belle, thats what im hoping, will let you know if it works :) To be honest most of my payments are direct debit, but will still give it a go see If it can work.

Today was a nice day, last £1 paid over to cc2 but ok pay day tomorrow, woohoo!!! Today was a spend day, brought some iron and vitamin liquid from holland and barratts (had a £4.50 points voucher so only paid 95p). Gained this month 1lb 1/4, so went to tesco and brought a salad and banana, used a price promise voucher £1.15 so actually paid 3p for lunch...I do love a coupon shop... Nothing more to report..hope everyone else had a fab Thursday x
