Buyer not happy after completion

On a similar note. I am currently clearing my house/garage prior to moving of unwanted items and have come across my 'spares' pile. Items such as the extra flag stones left over from patio, tiles from bathroom, paint cans etc. I have kept them in case I ever needed to repair the patio, repaint etc.
I was going to leave them In the garage with a note for the buyer but now I'm not sure after reading everyone's views.
Any advice?
Thanks
Personally, I would be very happy to find spare wall tiles, paint etc. When my son recently moved to his new house the previous owner had left these kind of items, which proved to be really useful, as we had to change the shower and needed to replace a few tiles.0 -

I am - but I have told the buyers that I'm leaving the spare items to give them the chance to say if they didn't want me to do so.0 -

Just ask the buyer. If it was me I'd appreciate things like that but they might be planning to completely redecorate all those things and therefore not want them. Only they can tell you what they would prefer you to do.Starting Mortgage Balance: £264,800 (8th Aug 2014)

Previous owner of our flat left spares... I think most people would appreciate or at least understand why they are left there.0

If you offer to pay for any removal get them to agree IN WRITING, (emails will do) BEFORE you pay that your offer is both "WITHOUT PREJUDICE" & in FULL & FINAL SETTLEMENT. Do not give them anything before they agree & you will hold the upper hand.0

Buyers will try it on if they suspect you are weak or nieve or desperate to sell.
Here is my story, house on market for £112,0000, couple view twice, just what they want and make asking price offer. And want quick completion subject to survey. Their surveyor comes round, surveys, tells me what a great house.
Some days later, phone call from EA to say buyer has had survey and found numerous problems !!!!!!! I go straight to EA's office and ask what sort of problems have cropped up only to be told that the buyer refused to disclose what was (allegedly) found as it's his survey but was now prepared to pay £95,000 (a reduction of £17,000).
His offer was refused and the house resold 6 weeks later with no problems on the next survey showing up.
My agent later told me he'd found out the first buyer had done this before with other sellers with different agents.0 -
I dont get why a buyer would repeatedly do that - it must cost them in valuation - survey ect money - eventually they will spend more out than they will win back.. (of course if they keep tying to make money- the amont they will want off - will increase!!)0

My buyer is being a royal pain in the backside trying to push for everything for nothing, which because I'm at breaking point he's more or less getting I don't think he understands that he's buying a house not my home he wants my curtains, lampshades etc.
Until Friday when we were supposed to exchange and he kicked up a fuss about the most ridiculous things does the smoke alarm work for example (yes it does but surely its about £5 for a new one if it doesn't) I was planning on going through the whole house leaving it pristine but I'm just going to hoover after we've left now he strikes me as hes going to moan about everything after we've gone so I'm photographing and taking a video of the whole house once cleared just encase
sounds like he plans to rent the place out...0
