    I've been Money Tipped!
Our currants ( other than the white currant) are netted at this time of year.

The chickens wriggle under but keeps other birds off.

The white currants DH just eats off the bush, probably under ripe.

.... popularity of the free public wifi....

I wouldn't know how to use free wifi ... and as my laptop battery only lasts 45 minutes it's probably not very handy for the type of uses I might have put it to.

What do people use it for? Who uses it?

I've not used any free wifi to date - all I've seen are scare stories about why people shouldn't use it ... and some posts on MSE about how hard it is to use it/log on etc in random places.

.... about as much use to me as a free wife.

It's easy to use as long as you follow common sense rules.

As for the people who use it. All sorts... it's quite popular with people moving house, people wanting to check something out while in town (eg a bus time or to get an online code for a cheap meal), students using libraries to work/revise, people who don't have the internet at home either because they just don't or it's broken, tourists, kids doing homework...

Just switched on BBC three. :)

I have a headache and no urge to cook.

We went to look at buying an electric van today. Confused. That's when the headache started.

Where I am now there's one small free 'museum'. It's all a bit odd (and small), so, having walked round it once (it was raining), in about 10 minutes in total .... I've no need to go again. Ever.

It's a few random old items from jobs people used to do - and a few things dug up out of the ground. It's not a big building, it used to be the Vicar's house.

Just looking at their website, allegedly you can buy a coffee there .... not when I went, maybe that's new or not open often. It'll be two old ladies and an urn.

WE have a local museum like that, it's free and you can go and look at organs but only one Sunday afternoon per month, quite like being married with kids....
