Iraq is falling apart. It needs a strong, perhaps ruthless ruler to hold it together. Where's Saddam when you need him? ;)
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Gen, really pleased that this awful stage is nearly over. Please don't try to do too much over the next few days. i would think there is a real danger of the euphoria of having completed the treatment luring you into a wellness that the body can't cope with yet.

    Would an ice pack help?

The worst burning is in my mouth now so I don't think so. I think I need the treatment to finish and then some time for the burns to go away.

It's also burned the corner of my mouth where my lips meet so I can't open my mouth properly. *Fed up with this whole thing smilie*

My hay fever, having disappeared for 2 years, has returned.

Yesterday morning I took a non-drowsy anti-histamine and promptly fell asleep!

I've also been badly bitten on my arm, at least 10 times, by some horrid insect.

Me too! And that happened to me last week - couldn't work out why I was so tired and begging to sleep!

I have to take a tablet as soon as I wake, as that is when it starts.

I take them in the evening in the hope that I will then be most sleepy over night. However it really is true that they are much more effective if taken everyday, ideally started before the hay fever...

I must admit that I'm struggling to eat now. It's mid afternoon and I've not eaten anything yet. I'm about to have luke warm soup but I'm forcing it down.

Anyhoo, almost there. Then I'll gradually start getting better. That's the bit I'm really looking forward to.

Could you try soothing things like yogurt, or ice-cream?

    Only 1 left!

Twinings do a delicious camomile tea with honey. I can highly recommend, or a small spoon of honey added to a standard cup. Yummy.

They also do a lovely camomile and spicy apple.

Kermie had a very, very bad night. It seems that having a bit cut off your penis isn't as much fun as you might think. He's wanted lots and lots of cuddles! <yawn>

I've got home made shepherds pie. Nom.

We've got a huge shopping centre a few hundred yards away. I might brave their supermarket and get a nice ice cream. A small person who clearly doesn't get smacked enough left it out last night.

I've always avoided these sorts of flavoured teas as I've assumed they have weird chemicals and stuff in them. Is that the case or is it just a bit of dried apple?

I had some 'real' chamomile tea recently made from actual dried flowers. It was the same flavour as the Twinings stuff only lighter in colour (not chopped up like Twinings I guess).

In a good tea, you can physically see the dried apple pieces in the loose tea/tea bag. I'd never considered even the cheaper fruit teas containing crap - why go to all the effort if the tea still tastes like mildly flavoured hot water even when you leave the bag in? The cheaper they are, the more like water they taste is all, I think.

    I've been Money Tipped!
I like the look of the new site. I know I am in the minority.

Sadly its pretty unusable for me. Silvercar, you tested and are a migraine sufferer, did it give you migraines? I think it would be ok if it were compressed a bit and had a darker background option. I'd certainly be willing to try.

People are complaining about things like cannot see where to log on but I think that's clearer actually. Still won't be able to use it though.

Small person clearly does require harsh discipline. Probably the parents' fault.

The flavoured teas which are any good don't have weird stuff in. Actual camomile or mint teas are the best, by far, and mint tea is very easy to make - mix mint, boiling water, and wait!
