Sue doesn't own a house yet, although at least she isn't in private rented. I'm not aware of Masomnia owning either. Then there are the NP who don't say much about themselves so we don't know about them.
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

    COngratulations, PN!
Is there some pedantic thing about this sort of thing being infusion rather than tea? I'm never sure ( its what I do with rosemary most days). Ironically rosemary I find very strong as a culinary herb and use sparingly.

I'm not pedantic about infusion rather than tea. I think I tend to use "tea" for something I just drink, and "infusion" for something that is for cooking / hair / skin / something other than just quaffing.

Mint tea may actually contain tea, which is nbg if you want a caffeine free drink.

I reckon you can't get much better than just-made-from-mint tea, it's lovely. Hope it helps your mouth too, Gen.

Well, at 2pm I wanted to come here to say I was bored of waiting .... but my PC was too sluggish and Avira forced an update, which then nagged for a restart... so I restarted and now it's too sluggish to use..... and then ....

The phone rang at 3pm. All done/dusted. So I just arranged the buildings cover.... and am now on my laptop.

It's ferkin real and that's a whole weird feeling....

    Congrats!

    Any groin thrusting yet?

It's not a good look for the laydeez.... I fear I'd look like Susan Boyle on her entrance to the X Factor, while on the stage before singing...... seconds 8-11 in this clip http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=deRF9oEbRso

But look where it got her. Bit of groin thrusting and you'll suddenly be a BTL landlord with 75 poorly maintained properties rented to vulnerable housing benefit claimants and yielding 15% per annum.

Yeah, as if that appeals...... I'm happy with my little two up two down and scrimping to bring in enough to cover the basics thank you very much :)

I thought I might get a job and buy a beach hut and a kayak :)
(There goes £30k though ..... that I've not got).

I know nothing at all about kayaks - just to be clear!

There were some inflatable ones in my local Lidl recently... useful as a starting point?

I wonder if Coulson will now go ahead and use some of the dirt he has or hold off if there is still the possibility of appealing....

The jury are still considering verdicts on some of the offences, but I'd be highly surprised if he didn't appeal the conviction if he can find a reason to use.

Will NPT 11 go down as the thread where so many people bought houses? Jelly, chewy and now Pastures. Congratulations everyone.

Nikks, did you buy your house last thread?
