Do you need to rewrite your will to ensure that's ring-fenced the way you'd want?
Not at present. My estate goes in equal halves to my two kids, with my brothers as trustees and guardians. I've undertaken to tie up my kids' money for them if I marry again while they're minors, though.Hmmm... I'll be needing some protein to go with all the vegetables I'm growing
Maybe they taste horrible? They don't look very appealing.

I imagine they taste rather like snails, but I can't say I fancy eating them, and even less so after reading the cooking instructions with all those repeated slime removal processes.Unusually for me, I am not looking forward to work this week. Was it really only yesterday that I was feeling all was well with the world? I just want the days to go.
Sending dodgy hugs Spirit. :grouphug:
Hope the week goes better than you fear. Do please try not to overdo the work.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

I can't imagine that Tabasco goes off. What bug could survive in that sort of environment? No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

So do orange shells. I imagine other citrus fruit would too. When my daughter was a toddler I had a friend with a son of the same age. He was a little s*d, a complete houdini and could undo/climb out of every child seat strap known to man. He could not be reasoned with.
For a time his mum resorted to strapping him in and then wrapping him in bungee straps and a large net whilst in his car seat. It worked.
Her job...child protection:)
I had to add an extra strap to the 5 point harness to keep DD in when she was little. However, she absolutely hated it, so very soon merely the threat of "doing up the special strap" was enough to stop her wriggling out.PasturesNew wrote: »I don't meant to be rude but ... you really ought to get in line.
You've already had one bite of that cherry .... don't go queue-jumping while us spinsters still haven't had firsts!
I only said "if". My barrister knew that the judge we were expecting to hear the case would want it considered. We actually had a different judge but my barrister wasn't taking any chances and offered the information anyway. The legal mind likes to cover every imaginable possibility.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Not any bug I'd ever want to meet! :eek:PasturesNew wrote: »Wus U on da rob??
That's usually the only way everything's free!
It was just an amazingly cheap (but nice and interesting) place to stay in. They had a statistic on the telly when I visited that showed that the cost of living was the lowest n the US about 60% of the US average (and Boston, near where DW lived, was 160%)There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
Oysters & snails yum.
The former are great raw with shallot vinegar (finely chopped shallots in red wine vinegar) and a really decent glass of something like a Chablis.
The latter with lots of bread for the garlic butter and a small glass of red Burgundy.
What's French for nom again?
Waiting, waiting. The burns are getting worse: the burns themselves woke me up last night; I don't think that's happened before.
I want to reassess my life after this. I have too much stress going on which I don't like, want or need. I work in a job wherr I'm always sorting out stuff that's gone wrong. It's challenging but sometimes basically impossible.0 -
Hope the next session goes OK, Gen - then there's only 1 to go?0

I'm trying to hang about for gen 'a appointment to be over tonight. I haven't done a shift yet, doesn't seem fair.0
