The not nice was bred into me.
I don't really want to see them suffer. I'd just prefer them not to eat the things I'd like to eat.
If they eat too many of the things that are growing in my garden I reserve the right to revisit that statement. Or if they touch any of my courgettes.0 -
Errrr... what's that?
Trying an oyster is likely to occur first :rotfl:
Plus you get condiments with oysters. I'm not keen on chocolate body paint or whipped cream shenanigans. Personally.
I have to take my evening meds but too floppy to stand up. Sigh. Trying to work up enthusiasm.
Edit: if you aren't sure about raw oysters you can get tinned smoked ones in oil. They taste VERY different, The smoked ones are meatier, drier and....smokey. And, well, cooked! But it might be an introduction to the idea for the moderately intrepid? They are no better looking really IMO. We eat them with tooth picks as a canap! or as part of antipasti sometimes.0 -
Hmmm... I'll be needing some protein to go with all the vegetables I'm growing
Maybe they taste horrible? They don't look very appealing.

That's a good evolutionary trick. But then that would favour predators that'll eat any old rubbish, like dogs.

Fennel I felt obliged and beneficial to train myself to like, snails and slugs? I just don't. When we garden the front we chuck 'em onto the road and watch them get run over. Very mean
. Very un Buddhist.
The size of your land, you could hold a national championship in this sport. I would volunteer chewy to represent Surreyshire, or wherever it is that I've already failed to rememberEverything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Yeah - I prefer condiments like Tabasco. Probably rather better suited for one of those activities than the other
Can someone fetch the meds for you? I'm sure you would rather get them yourself but is it an option?0 -
Doesn't LIR have a job lot of Tabasco? No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

So I thought I'd share it over here as it made me smile!
The wife said to me, "Whenever a World Cup game is on, let's eat something to do with that team for dinner that night."
Mexico was on, we had burritos.
Japan was on, we had sushi.
USA was on, we had burgers.
Italy was on, we had pizza.
Tuesday is England, so we're going out.0 -
