I've tried snails once (felt I should at least give them a go). Not sure I'll ever feel the need again.
What is one *supposed* to do with slugs and snails?
I suppose the ethical thing to do is to kill them very quickly. And make the place as in hospitable as possible so they hopefully slither off somewhere else.0 -
Today was my first day back at work after two weeks off. OH has also gone back to work..this week he is in Quebec.
The team are feeling the loss of our colleague, so a bit glum, I have some ghastly meetings later this week. I also will see a Consultant:eek: on Friday then as I am nearby going in for a meeting breaking a particularly unpopular decision.
Unusually for me, I am not looking forward to work this week. Was it really only yesterday that I was feeling all was well with the world? I just want the days to go.0 -

I think I like snails but perhaps I too just like garlic butter... I would never bother to cook them myself that's for sure.0

A pfaff to eat and rather pointless. To be ranked alongside oysters.lostinrates wrote: »Oh nonononononononono.
Oysters yum
I don't think I've ever eaten an oyster. I'd probably try one 'just because' but I could easily cope with missing out. They look about as appealing as slugs to me.0 -

A plastic spoon? Wouldn't scissors be easier? My mother likes a bucket of salt or bleach so she can see their pain.
The not nice was bred into me.0 -

Errrr... what's that?
Trying an oyster is likely to occur first :rotfl:0
