She does realise he can't read, right?!
In fact, it's probably giving him even more energy by providing the right doses of vitamins and whatever else they use to differentiate the senior food from other types!!
She's an optimist, I suppose.
I reckon senior cat food and dog food and so forth is probably quite similar to the normal type, with a different packet (-:...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

I don't know the correct term, but I wish the Jewish NPs a belated happy Passover.
British Airways.
OH here for work so I came along too. Something we've been playing for when the time is right for yonks. Passover a week after we get back, so bad timing really.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. More annoyed that I'm up already (and not just going to bed)
I need to start getting some paperwork for myself done, then meet with someone later to draft a business plan with him for a meeting tomorrow (!).
Enjoy Chicago Silver!

Oh dear.
Staying up all night being ill on Thursday night and then sleeping during the day on Friday has thrown my body clock out by 5 or 6 hours. I think getting up for the school run on Monday morning is going to be tough. I won't even be able to go straight back to sleep after dropping DD off, either, because I've got to go into DS's school for my annual chat with the senco about his needs. Still, at least I've broken up now, so the only work I have to do is at whatever time I want to do it, and I'm not intending to go to church later this morning because I've now completely lost my voice! Just have to hope DS and DD let me have my sleep before surprising me with whatever they've been planning.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
I changed planes in Chicago 20-odd years ago and was stunned by the sight of the Sears Tower overlooking the lake. I was at a regional hub airport where you got disconcertingly close to the suburbs; you could practically count the freckles of the people looking out the window at your plane.
I was there in late 91. The Sears Tower was (at that time) the tallest building in the World.
I like Chicago, and out of all the US Cities I've been to, it's my favourite. It has some great modern architecture, and plenty examples of Frank Lloyd Wright designed buildings.0 -
Breakfast this morning included some (free) venison for the dogs. Big dogs is finished, but kiwi and dog dog were out on the lawn eating their deer so big dog went and pushed dog dog off before I'd pulled her in.
Dog dog looked at me then waited, then....ran over to side gate and started barking furiously at nothing. While other two ran to side gate she sprinted back collected left over breakfast and ran off. I pulled big dog in, then dog dog tossed smaller bit at kiwi.
big dog doesn't realise what happened, some one fast went by maybe?0 -
Happy Mothers day NP whether you are marking it for your own mum or being feted by others.
Daughter bought me flowers and bath stuff, the cat and the dog bought me a note book, and in a final flourish the cat has just brought me in an ex mouse. DD has taken it off her, so she has gone out in search of another.
There is a new mother in the family today as I have a new great niece this morning, a much wanted IVF baby so plenty to celebrate and thank modern medicine and the NHS for.0 -
That's wonderful, Spirit. Escpecially the new, hard won, great niece.
DD remembered, the boys in my family forgot. Sat weeping in a TGI Friday.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
