Warehouse where FC123 might hold stock's gone up in flames.
    ASOS.
Hope she either had no stocks held there, or they'd run them down, or it turns out to be a fortuitous insurance claim.
About 20 of her lines were sold via the website I think.

One adult has to. So OH is doing that, while my mother and I look after Kermie and set up the tea in a room nearby.

Cakes are sorted - my mother does them. She is absolutely amazing at it, and does proper wedding cakes too. We helped her make one at Easter, that took 11lb of fruit and cooked for nearly 12 hours (the bottom tier). That wedding was last weekend:

Last year, she did Isaac a Battle of Hastings birthday cake, complete with icing Bayeux Tapestry on the sides:

Two years ago it was a pirate tropical island:

This year the theme is Romans, but I've not seen the cake yet.

    That looks absolutely beautiful NDG!

Another 90 minutes at SAW, then another 2 hours and I'll be in bed. I really can't wait!

They really are! Did you manage?!!

DH moved one a couple of weeks ago ( we've planted horseradish in it) and I realised how the gym time is translating to practicality.

    I did :D
Dragged it onto the grass then 'rolled' it to my 'allotment' corner :)

Planted up the last of the plants I rescued from Homebase last weekend (in direct contravention of my mum's order not to buy any more plants.

    Left: broad beans
    Centre: chillies
    Right: sugar snap peas

Not convinced that the sugar snap peas will make it. They look pretty sad.
Need to get some stakes tomorrow/ this week.

Well done on the fence panels - great progress this afternoon.
Yes...... they're a sack barrow requirement.
Or one of those nifty "little men" that you can buy in if you're lucky enough to get the details of a good one.

Meh. This little NP can be pretty nifty when she wants to be :) Though I woudn't have managed anything that involved lifting it clean off the ground.

I'm looking at the Ikea website and thinking ..... should do an Ikea trip at some point.

It's always a tough call ... go before or go after.... after makes more sense as plenty of time can be spent mulling/measuring, then bringing items straight back to the home they're destined for and put to immediate use.

Are there set times of year when Ikea have sales?

Cheap ... these are now on the list based on price: http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/75305709/
Oh, hang on, they're small ...... well, they're on the list but might not be bought. ... or they could be a beside table.

If you think you'll spend over £100, I have a £15 off voucher you'd be welcome to.

    Well done nikkster! Very impressed!

More impressed than at DH. Because he should be able to do it!

In the end we got 9 panels done. Almost half way. Ran out of wood stain.

I would say "I won't spend that much".... but you know how it is once you get going and you've a house :)

This table seems affordable/practical: http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/14630009/ I could see that starting life as a kitchen table, then ending up as an office/craft table .... although I'd be sold on it if it had detachable legs. Tables with detachable legs = I can move them about and they can be taken apart if impractical for any amount of time.

A small, single person, with a narrow staircase, couldn't easily get that up/downstairs on a whim of change.
